I have seen you perform a few times at the Fringe over the past couple of years. Without fail your performance is outstanding, you can clearly see and feel the passion you have for your art. I can't wait for your second album.
Marches come in different time signatures. 2/4 is very common, but 6/8 is common as well in Ireland and Scotland. (Some are even in 3/4! Fead an Iolar is an Irish march in 3/4 that I love.) O'Sullivan's is in 6/8.
Hello good sir, I was wondering if you could point me in the right direction regarding the first tune you played for BBC's Scotland Young Trad Finalist?
Great playing (as always). Me and my fiddler friends learned this from a clip where you perform together with Jenn Butterworth. What is the name of the second tune?
Thanks so much Horkano. The 2nd tune is my version of a tune called 'Fingal's cave'. I've actually just recorded it on my soon to be released 2nd album :)
I always love your playing. It makes me never want to stop practicing so that I can sound like you one day.
Beautiful and special as always. Thank you - it puts a light step in the day for me.
Thanks so much for your kind words, Simon :)
Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful irish or scottish music. Great violonist very well accompanied.
Thanks so much for all your lovely comments, Jy 😊🎻
Beautiful! What's Chris playing? Is it tuned like a nordic mandola?
Thanks so much! You can read more about Chris' lovely guitar here :) www.taranguitars.co.uk/chris-amer
@@RyanYoungfiddle The guitar I think is too bright sounding. Lovely guitar but too bright for this accompaniment.
This is brilliant! I’ve heard o’ Sullivan’s March, but never so soulfully played. Is a March still in 4/4 time?

Thanks so much for you lovely words, Kaeleigh ! Yeah, just as 2li said below, marches come in a variety of time signatures :)
@@2li678 I love 3/4 marches too!

Sorry for my slow reply, Enders. The first tune from that video is called 'The pain I've endured since last year'. I recorded it on my debut album :)
