David was right. re-watch is actually you guys rewatching it together while filming it. So most watch it on a laptop and watch a chunk, (we can hear it) and pause chat a bit etc! I still love re-living this! I hope you guys chat about things after 7th heaven too! Bev in Saw! I would love to hear that experience!
This podcast is becoming so great that I have hope it will continue through all 11 seasons. I fear for all 3 of you having to watch so much embarrassing stuff lol but ty for your service
@CUWTheCamdens call me crazy, but I feel as if towards the end, aka the final simon season, I feel as if he got meaner towards ruthie and didn't care much about her. Like when she found out during season 10 the guy at school she liked was only going out with her to sleep with her, I'm surprised simon didn't go after the guy. Or like in season 9 when martin broke her heart, I thought simon would be there for his little sister
You guys are so admirable to get together after all these years the fact that you guys make a point to get together and share the experience with us who have grown up with your show in our homes. Your tv show was a huge part of growing up.
you guys are hitting your stride! love hearing the recaps, i started my first watch through of 7th heaven this year so all the eps are fresh in my memory!
Its so cool to hear about the sets/locations and the scripts and stuff. Love hearing your memories of the show then and how you look at the episodes now ☺
Hello in there Beverly, Mackenzie and David: One more time here I am commenting on the latest episode of the podcast. These are pretty much the best moments of my Mondays, even though it's just every other Monday. This is becoming a tradition that I hope continues for a very long time, and I hope it will someday be given more recognition. 🙂 Thanks for doing the review of Episode 3 of 7th Heaven. As I have told you before, now you are 1.23% into the show (3 episodes done, 240 to go). This will indeed take you more than 9 years to complete, and I swear I will be here for the ride. I cannot wait to arrive to the later seasons in which the show develops and gets to be better. Also, I liked the fact the fact that you guys discussed the fact that these are not "React videos", but some sort of Recap/Review videos. The detail of the colors of the scripts and the pocket-sized scripts that everyone had, was surprising. I have never thought about anything like that. I assumed that you guys pasted script pages outside the field of view when filming. On second thought, I guess that would have been too obvious to notice on the final cut, so that alternative of "having the script on the pocket (to check it out)" is more realistic. I still deeply admire the fact that actors can memorize long scripts constantly. It's sad to hear that the cast and crew did not celebrate birthdays, because I would have guessed quite the contrary. At least I hope you have happy memories of your birthdays, and that the rest of the people among you did acknowledge your birthday. And I also hope that you celebrated holidays (like Christmas or Thanksgiving) with the 7th Heaven cast & crew or at least some special occasions (like the wrap-up of a filming season). Fun fact: The TV series "Star Trek Voyager" also has an episode named "In the Blink of an Eye". It's a really good episode (one of my favorites overall), so nowadays I associate that expression with that particular Star Trek episode. Nevertheless, I want to say that I do remember this "In the Blink of an Eye" episode. I won't lie, as a kid it was quite shocking to me to have the death of a character in the third episode of this TV show. But I guess this is exactly what drove me to this show. The fact that it did not hesitate to show more mature and dramatic stuff. For some reason I always thought that 7th Heaven portrayed a normal picture of teenagers having dates. I remember thinking "I guess it's quite natural that teenagers have such a big dating life and though I do not, I guess the rest of the people do". And I remember not feeling sad not envious of other people's dating lives. I just accepted it as part of life and I kinda accepted girls did not take interest in me. The long-running joke of Eric's bad cooking is something I found funny and helped me have a deeper respect for Annie. As you have mentioned, the show did portray Annie as a strong centered woman who could do many, many things, and Eric more of a One Trick Pony. I guess that is quite like a functional balanced family where the mother has decided to stay at home and take care of the family, so she has to do many things at the same time.😌 To be sincere, Alice Hirson's performance struck me as a great character portrayal in this episode. I remember being invested in Grandma Jenny in the span of these 3 episodes. She was the best grandma ever. I remember being really hit when they said she died. And I LOVED seeing her again at the twins' birth and when Eric almost died in Season 10. Alice Hirson is as memorable as any of the main cast. 👍 My highlights of this episode are: 15:44 - Did Mackenzie drink a coffee that was left on the car one day (in the California heat) and one night? I assume it would be spoiled already and may be bad for your stomach. I wouldn't drink something like that. 16:26 - I do remember that. Ruthie taking all those plushies in Simon's bedroom and his joke of "all those eyes are looking at me". 17:06 - Ruthie's imaginary friend! I forgot about it. Was his name Huey? I kinda believe they changed the name in the dubbing. It's a really interesting detail. Back in the day I used to think it was sad that Ruthie had an imaginary friend. 17:52 - I am quite sure that in the latin american Spanish dubbing of the show, they censored the fact that the movie was Striptease. 22:37 - David's description of Lucy and Mary being frenemies was so funny. 🙃 24:25 - I love how Beverly points out several times that Jeff watched the movie with Matt. 24:52 - I never thought of the idea that leaving a kid inside a car in the California sun can be life threatening. 😐 29:16 - That "Do you lose your stuff often? Comment down below". I do not. I used to as a kid, but not anymore nowadays. 🤞 29:40 - "None of them looked like they've seen a high school in a decade". In retrospective, lots of shows did that (having people in their 20s posing as high school students). 31:08 - "I didn't actually really look 16 quite when I was". It's true, because on the final seasons of the show teenage Ruthie looked just like kid Ruthie but slightly taller. 😅 32:13 - Wait, what? Huey (or however you spell that) had a day job? I did not remember that? LMAO. 34:57 - An Asian sound effect? I have no idea what you are talking about. 🤨 35:36 - I totally support the idea of Lucy being a romance novelist. 35:48 - That aggressive (incorrect) separation of syllables. It's Hor-mo-nal. That is indeed an "Insert foot in mouth" moment. I swear I will incorporate that expression in my daily life. 😂 36:26 - "Do you have keys to your parents' place?" "I can get in”. That sounded like a felony confession. And then Mack's idea of entering though the dog's door. 🤫 40:30 - "Spending the kids' inheritance". How rude! 43:26 - I kinda support the idea of a makeup counter. Just kidding... ROFL. 48:03 - That cliché of the minister's kids being spoiled. I haven't heard that in a while. In retrospective, this episode kinda settled the character portrayals for the rest of the series. As soon as you watch Episode 3, you will have a clear picture of how the characters behave. When I was a kid watching this show, I was hooked up in Episode 3 by the setup and the portrayals. I already loved the show as much as I did in the Final Episode (and nowadays). Amazing. 🥰 Even though you guys said that the scene where grandma appears as a ghost and kisses Annie goodbye is rare, I gotta say that throughout the show there were several of those "supernatural moments". The episode when the school stairs collapse in the night and they say "Thank God no one was hurt"; the season 4 premiere when Eric sees himself on the hospital, Eric kinda dying for a moment in season 10, et cetera). There were several moments like those in the show. 😇 I guess as a kid I did not pay that much attention to the fact that Matt looked so grown up for a 16-year-old. Barry indeed looked like a 22-25-year-old man, but I was happy to ignore it for the sake of the show. As for the background teenagers at school and Matt's friends, I did not pay enough attention, so I did not care about them being also in their 20s posing as high school students. Later in the seasons I would like to discuss Heather Cain (my favorite ever), Shana Sullivan and Sarah Glass ages. 😅 Ok. On the other hand, I have a couple of questions this time: - Was there any medical emergency on set while you were filming the show? Did anyone of you actors have any medical condition that had to be checked? 😷 - I can tell you A LOT about the latin american spanish dubbing of 7th Heaven, but do you guys know some details about the other dubbing versions of the show? I would like to know about those. 😛 - After the show ended, what kinds of roles would you have wanted to do next in your acting careers? Did you get those roles or not? 😶 - Did you ever ask for an autograph from any of the guests on the show? 🤩 - Did you ever try to go to the show writers or producers to give them some ideas for your characters' story development? What ideas did you have for developing your characters during the show? 🤔 - And a crazy random question for any one of you: Do you guys see anime? What is your favorite anime series? 😆 Ok. Thanks a lot for your continuous hard work making these podcast episodes. They bring me so much happiness and nostalgia. Since you guys are back, I feel like I am reconnecting with distant relatives I have not seen in years. Hugs to each one of you. 😊 Bye. Agustin 🙂
This is such a treat to hear you guys talk about the show. Thank you for sharing with us. I encourage you to focus on the reason you embarked on this podcast journey and ignore any negativity in the comments. 7th Heaven was and is an incredible show with a positive, healthy, and realistic view of what family life as the pastor’s kids can be like. And it makes sense that you would engage in this podcast the same way you would engage around the dinner table. Keep being real!
For doors being left unlocked in the 90s, while this was true, I still have a key to my parents' house, and my parents have a key to my place. So we just let ourselves in when we are visiting each other.
I loved every season of 7th Heaven except for season 11. It was so different than the other seasons. Anyone else? That said, I know every episode word for word and never get tired of watching! Loving the podcast.
This was such a good one! All of them are! David saying “cute” I love it 😂❤ I love when you guys go off track on your little tangents it make it all the more cozy!! I love that you guys started this podcast it makes me so happy!! 😃 Is Jessica Biel going to be on the podcast? Or Catherine ? Can you guys please have Tyler Hoechlin on it as well !!! As well the actors that played Peter, Cecilia, Kevin. More Barry would be awesome too!! 😊 love you guys!!
So glad you are doing this! 7th Heaven was huge in Australia (I am sure it was popular everywhere) where I am from and it started when I was in my first year of high school. I had the biggest crush on Barry (Matt) and in later years David (Simon). I loved each of the characters and related to Bev (Lucy) soooo much!! 😂😂😂 Look forward to listening to you guys each week. Much love from Australia! 🩷🩷🩷🩷
Just discovered this channel and binged watch all the videos. Something for the Q&A: With the shows religious plots and story were there any religious messages you or your parents disagreed with (now or while filming)? If so, Anything you refused to do on that basis?
This podcast is great. I used to watch it as a kid. And love the nostalgia of it now. I have tried rewatching 7th heaven and every time I get a few episodes in they take it off the app I’m watching it on!! 😩
ok but also could you possibly skip a head for a sec and discuss season 2 episode 17. nothing endures but change please? This episode truly resonated and hit me very hard. Even now to this day I think about this episode and the emotions were just so raw I would love your feed back and input/experience of filming that such raw and real feelings. also I listened to in the arms of an Angel on repeat for a good portion of my adolescence . the particular scene where you Beverly break down and say "no it is my fault its all my fault. if she hadn't been driving she would be alive rn if I had told somebody she might still be alive rn."and Annie says "it not your fault none of this is your fault" and then to learn that this episode was based of a very recent event where you Bev actually had that happened to you and it literally broke my heart but also never have I felt more connected in that moment.
I do wish they could have told the younger kids. Hearing a loved one is sick is hard at any age but sometimes it is better just to be told, I wouldn't say that makes griefing easier as nothing about grief is meant to be easy but it helps to not be blindsided.
I felt like Mack was a little hesitant in opening up in the first podcast. I love watching her becoming more comfortable and opening up more! Yea! These Catching Up podcasts are so great!
911 views and 119 likes? 😂Those little details...😄 I love how you guys take the time to travel to California to record each episode. Does Beverley live in Colorado now or does she spend half her time between there and California?
Also I know it's a long time away, but I hope you go through all the 11 seasons cause I would love to see David's reactions and hear his thoughts about season 11 since he wasn't in it
Grandma does come back in a dream to Lucy later on when Lucy is either pregnant and afraid of giving birth or as a dream letting Lucy know she is pregnant.
I love this 😊. Also, Matt could be a JR depending on birthday/start school. My son has a summer birthday and started kindergarten at 5 so he'll be 16 as a jr.
I thought you guys were going to watch it at the time of the podcast. Even if you can show it due to copyright can you have it on out of frame then tell us as we are watching to pause and then talk about the scene then we are watching it with on our own tv too (does that make sense)
I am praying with everything and me that you guys will eventually get to the holocaust episode. I want to know so badly from David everything that he learned and how difficult it was for him to film that episode. The emotion that he had in that entire episode, I can still watch it and cry as if it’s my first time watching it. I have seen that episode probably 10 times and still every time I watch it. It’s like it’s my first.
Going way ahead of time, when yall were speaking about David and “aks” on the pilot, I realized there’s a whole episode I think on either the last or second to the last season literally focused on the word “aks” I think the name of the episode has it as well 🤣🤣
I remember the intros at the begging of some episodes (when they listed the guest stars on that episode) it had the same palm trees and people jogging/walking and the group of birds flying away in the same spot as Beverly Hills 90210! I feel like they used that in 90210 as well! Does anyone else remember that?
Well, to answer David's question, "I don't lose things very often because my OCD won't allow me to." I have almost 1,700 DVDs and BluRays that are all in alphabetical and chronological order (depending on if the movie has sequels)...... I'm very big on organizing.... I call myself a "Master Organizer." 😊💯😊💯
They still do the older actor playing teens on some shows. DAYS OF OUR LIVES has a 26 year old and a 24 year old playing 17. I really like Alice Hirson as an actress. She is 95 now.
Ps going off on tangents is totally fine, have you listed to the office ladies lol the background stuff and random stories are fun. Love listening to these and may actually re-watch soon too.
Can you guya PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏 DO A RE-WATCH OF THE NEXT episode while talking about it so we can watch it with you all? Would love to see the reactions while watching the show together & also talking about it? ❤❤❤❤❤
It wasn't my imagination after all about Matt playing a younger age than he is. Mystery solved. LOL I've put things in a safe place and forget where that safe place is. I've recently lost my wallet and I was in tears. Then I was in tears again of joy when I found it.
Another great rewatch/recap with the three of you. I love listening, and watching your dynamic together. Also, to comment on Beverley's brief dive into the music industry, I love your country album, still listen to it. I am still hoping you, Bev, put out some more music. I am a fan of yours as both a singer and actress. As for those musical episodes, as a fan watching, I didn't care really care for those.... I did like the show writing in some episodes with Lucy and Mary singing in a scene, or two, separately of course. I also loved the Gershwin episode, jumping to season 10, which is a Ruthie-centric episode...Beautiful!
I’m ahead on the rewatch. Was Catherine pregnant for real in season 3. Also; Beverly, Annie had a VISCERAL aversion to chicken in S3e1. Like (tv) mother; like (tv) daughter.
So that Striptease reference is really dating this episode, and the fact that no one remembers the context of this reference is telling. Striptease was a major controversy at the time. Especially amongst non-denominational churches. People thought that it should have been rated X, and churches protested the film claiming that an R rating left children vulnerable to the profanity and pornography they believed the film to be. The film is tame to our "modern" standards but was a controversy in it's moment in time.😅
Ok...I know that it'll be awhile before Season 2 : It Takes a Village rewatch. However, I've been desperately trying every possible way to find out the name of the song being played on the CD player in the basement of the party. It begins: I've been waiting all my life for someone, someone who can turn my world around... And that's basically all that's played. But neither Shazam or any kind of web search yields any result whatsoever. I'm asking in advance because it may take awhile for even yourselves to find out the answer. But please do. This has been driving me nuts for decades. Literally. Thank you.
Do you think Stephen listens to this? Would you ever privately speak with him? I know he chose to slip away quietly after his brave admission. In a world where most in hollywood are clearly corrupt, that's pretty admirable. Peace to him and any victims of SA.
What episode of 7th heaven's 9th season does Mackenzie rosman's character Ruthie camden say goodbye Vincent have fun in Hawaii as she storms away with her little straight hair?
When Bev was single she bought a house. It was on an HGTV episode of trading spaces or fixer upper or something like that... with I think Jessica Biel. I believe this is that house that she bought years ago. Since she and her family have moved to a different state, I think she has kept it for a place to stay when she is in town. You will catch subtle references that Mack is staying there when she comes in town too! Both Jessica and Mack were bridesmaids in Beverly's wedding, I believe - so they all really are like family which is kinda cool to think about! Beverly might comment that I am totally wrong about all of this, but that is what I have thought since seeing the first podcast!
I do enjoy these podcasts the only thing is the massive praise for Annie, when personally she was my least favorite, idk if it was the character itself or Katherine but I cringe watching her and I really like Eric a lot more. Annie just seems kinda bratty in a sense “it’s my way or I’m going to throw a tantrum” and she was pretty arrogant while Eric was for the most part chill and patient.
There is one thing I’ve missed. So Simon has to share a room with Ruthie. Where was Ruthie sleeping before rooming with Simon? Why do they have to share a room?
I wasn’t going to say anything bc it feels unimportant but if it’s going to keep getting brought up I need to- Matt being 16 and a junior does make sense. Beverly keeps saying it doesn’t because a lot of the times you’re 17 when you’re a jr, but you don’t have to be. I turned 17 the summer after jr year, I was one of the younger kids in my grade and a lot of them had already been 17 for a while, but it all just depends where your birthday falls in the school year.
They still aren't doing it right lol it does not have to be live. The rewatch is supposed to be the cast watching each episode together and commenting.. then when they show us fans they play the episode like in the corner and we get to watch the ep with them and watch them comment.
I was hoping enough people would comment and they’d figure it out lol
I'm glad you guys go off on tangents it keeps it relatable and fun.
TY. I said the same thing, I love it!
I agree.
This podcast is becoming so great that I have hope it will continue through all 11 seasons. I fear for all 3 of you having to watch so much embarrassing stuff lol but ty for your service
We certainly have a lot to cover! ❤️
I'm here for the ride!

I don't think it's embarrassing... they are all incredible actors playing an extremely influential rolls
@@bellabrooksmay5612 That's a valid take! Embarrassment is subjective
I really am enjoying this podcast. You guys act like you really are brother and sisters. I can’t wait for the next episode.
This is now my favorite podcast! I’ve been rewatching with you guys!
Love how you are doing episodes one at a time❤
I love this and I’m rewatching 7th heaven. I grew up on 7th and I wish it was still going on. But this is a great podcast
These are quite possibly the most adorable people on this earth
Love the podcast. Love when you talk about behind the scenes. I’m learning alot about stuff I don’t know about.
Love the tangents and side quests! Love the behind the scene stuff like the scripts discussion, set stuff etc.
You guys are so admirable to get together after all these years the fact that you guys make a point to get together and share the experience with us who have grown up with your show in our homes. Your tv show was a huge part of growing up.
I'm really surprised by people complaining about the format of this podcast / re-watch. Let them do what they feel comfortable with!
you guys are hitting your stride! love hearing the recaps, i started my first watch through of 7th heaven this year so all the eps are fresh in my memory!
Commenting to show appreciation for this podcast. I really enjoy it. It's such a treat even in hard times.
I love the joke about matt being 25 😂
Its so cool to hear about the sets/locations and the scripts and stuff. Love hearing your memories of the show then and how you look at the episodes now ☺

Gosh I love all of these podcast episodes! It’s so nice seeing you guys go over each episode & chat about your own memories from filming them ♥️

And it makes sense that you would engage in this podcast the same way you would engage around the dinner table. Keep being real!
Hooey should've got credits. 😂
When I was younger I never noticed that Matt looked too old to be 16, but rewatching as an adult he definitely looks like he's 25 haha
I did the math the actor was like 22
@@dengchuol1352 ok give or take a few years I guess
For doors being left unlocked in the 90s, while this was true, I still have a key to my parents' house, and my parents have a key to my place. So we just let ourselves in when we are visiting each other.
Keep going on tangents. The way you guys are doing the show is great. Lots of fun!
Thanks for the support. And I don't think we will ever stop going on tangents. That's just us!
This is a recap or a review, not a “rewatch.” 😉 Love y’all!
I agree, and love it...but I would also like to "watch" it with them, whilst they pause and comment.
@@stephaniebutler81 exactly. The false advertising is bugging me.
Assuming they don’t want possible copyright strikes, dunno
@@jdfaust then they should call it a recap or review
This brings my soul so much happiness. Thank you.
I love these rewatches and I hope you continue doing them. Great podcast!
great episode , thanks
I LOVE watching this podcast! I do love the tangents, the real life stuff. Can’t wait for the next episode!
I loved every season of 7th Heaven except for season 11. It was so different than the other seasons. Anyone else? That said, I know every episode word for word and never get tired of watching! Loving the podcast.
I am rewatching the show, I didn't remember so much of it from watching as a kid! It's wild all the things that happen!
I loved the opening of this episode. Makes me want to give you all hugs.
We have lots of great guest coming! And thanks for the love and support!
I ALWAYS bawl like a baby at the end of this episode when Jenny passes. So well done ❤️
Matt is a rebel in the first season, but I feel like he becomes more responsible after that
That’s what happens when you grow up
@@paulan7218 yeah that's true
I related to Lucy's "Boy Craziness" when I was a teenager because I was very boy crazy, as well..... 😊
Just discovered this channel and binged watch all the videos. Something for the Q&A: With the shows religious plots and story were there any religious messages you or your parents disagreed with (now or while filming)? If so, Anything you refused to do on that basis?
These make me want to rewatch each episode before watching these so I can picture the scenes better.
Hello 👋. I've started rewatching the show because of your podcast.
Absolutely loving this from Australia
Loving every episode 😊
Eric was always on Matt’s case the first few seasons! Matt never seemed to catch a break when it came to Eric.
This podcast is great. I used to watch it as a kid. And love the nostalgia of it now. I have tried rewatching 7th heaven and every time I get a few episodes in they take it off the app I’m watching it on!! 😩
Y’all are amazing! This was one of my favorite shows to watch’ I was really hoping Simon an dena was gonna last! They seem perfect together 💯
ok but also could you possibly skip a head for a sec and discuss season 2 episode 17. nothing endures but change please?
Sorry my b the song was called “angel “
I do wish they could have told the younger kids. Hearing a loved one is sick is hard at any age but sometimes it is better just to be told, I wouldn't say that makes griefing easier as nothing about grief is meant to be easy but it helps to not be blindsided.
I felt like Mack was a little hesitant in opening up in the first podcast. I love watching her becoming more comfortable and opening up more! Yea! These Catching Up podcasts are so great!
Im enjoying the podcast!
Listening to this and watching season 1 for the 30th time episode 9 love u guys
911 views and 119 likes? 😂Those little details...😄
I love how you guys take the time to travel to California to record each episode. Does Beverley live in Colorado now or does she spend half her time between there and California?
Also I know it's a long time away, but I hope you go through all the 11 seasons cause I would love to see David's reactions and hear his thoughts about season 11 since he wasn't in it
Beverly David and Mackenzie you are awesome 😊
Grandma does come back in a dream to Lucy later on when Lucy is either pregnant and afraid of giving birth or as a dream letting Lucy know she is pregnant.
I love this 😊. Also, Matt could be a JR depending on birthday/start school. My son has a summer birthday and started kindergarten at 5 so he'll be 16 as a jr.
Love this so muvh❤
I think Beverley has a good voice
Aww thank you so much!
@@CUWTheCamdens you're welcome!
I agree. I enjoyed Beverley's CD. Is it available on any streaming services?
Jimmy moon goes prepared with two vhs. The beer got spilled on Matt and he backs up into the cop car. I remember.
Bev is so lucy and it’s so akward like i wanna see david and mackenzie talk because it feels like Bev is so controlling and it worrysom
They had a birthday for Lucy, then the 100th was Eric birthday and they had the twins birthday every year since they were born on Valentine’s Day
I thought you guys were going to watch it at the time of the podcast. Even if you can show it due to copyright can you have it on out of frame then tell us as we are watching to pause and then talk about the scene then we are watching it with on our own tv too (does that make sense)
We are still working it out, trying to figure out how best to do it.
I love your show it's the best
I am praying with everything and me that you guys will eventually get to the holocaust episode. I want to know so badly from David everything that he learned and how difficult it was for him to film that episode. The emotion that he had in that entire episode, I can still watch it and cry as if it’s my first time watching it. I have seen that episode probably 10 times and still every time I watch it. It’s like it’s my first.
Going way ahead of time, when yall were speaking about David and “aks” on the pilot, I realized there’s a whole episode I think on either the last or second to the last season literally focused on the word “aks” I think the name of the episode has it as well 🤣🤣
Yayyy I love you guys
Loved the show
Mack makes a good point and I have said that for a while too. My generation grew up too fast.
Jimmy Moon seemed to be monotone often. Like he had the same tone and demeanor whether he was mad, happy, sad, etc.
Can you guya PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE 🙏 DO A RE-WATCH OF THE NEXT episode while talking about it so we can watch it with you all? Would love to see the reactions while watching the show together & also talking about it? ❤❤❤❤❤
What sort of iconic outfits does ruthie camden wear in 7th heaven's 9th season episodes mi familia part 1 and mi familia part 2?
True Simon got moon rocks his bowl
Fabulous 👌
I’m ahead on the rewatch. Was Catherine pregnant for real in season 3. Also; Beverly, Annie had a VISCERAL aversion to chicken in S3e1. Like (tv) mother; like (tv) daughter.
I love 7 haven I just bought the DVDs
So that Striptease reference is really dating this episode, and the fact that no one remembers the context of this reference is telling. Striptease was a major controversy at the time. Especially amongst non-denominational churches. People thought that it should have been rated X, and churches protested the film claiming that an R rating left children vulnerable to the profanity and pornography they believed the film to be.
The film is tame to our "modern" standards but was a controversy in it's moment in time.😅
I do enjoy the podcast . The original 21 year old playing 17 is sound of music.
Hay camdens fan girls ❤️❤️😍😍
I have a key to my parents house…
You guys should atrach photos during the episode so we can picture what your talking about
I think a picture in picture would be cool to be able to watch it with them.
Omgg yayyy ❤
I really love ❤️ y'all show
HI Mackie thank you for the autograph you sent me a couple of years ago
Who song the theme song for the show
Bev seems to like David more than Mac. They don’t give Mac proper space to talk, she always has to fight for it
I agree the Lucy should have became a minister. Maybe a social worker work, or a counselor. Being a minister never really worked for her.
I wonder where they film this at
When Bev was single she bought a house.
Can yall seriously not rewatch and react together??? I have never seen a rewatch where that didn't happen. I'm with david signing off 3 minutes in.
There is one thing I’ve missed. So Simon has to share a room with Ruthie. Where was Ruthie sleeping before rooming with Simon? Why do they have to share a room?
Haha. ..I live on 3rd st 😂
Yes I graduated high school at 17. So I was 16 in my junior year.
They still aren't doing it right lol it does not have to be live. The rewatch is supposed to be the cast watching each episode together and commenting.. then when they show us fans they play the episode like in the corner and we get to watch the ep with them and watch them comment.
