I’ve nannied for the same family since i was 15 and I’m 23 now. (Unimportant, just to get an idea of how long). In between the two kids, the parents had a stillborn boy. EVER since i even started watching these kids I’ve felt like I was being watched. Never in a scary way, almost in a protective way. One time when the youngest was about 4, i was watching them overnight. He came to me in the middle of the night and said “Paxton is in my room wanting to play but it’s bed time” I ABOUT LOST MY MIND. Now every time I’m there i feel like i have to acknowledge their brother too 😭
You can make cheesecake cupcakes with a chocolate chip cookie bottom! Take the premade cookie dough packages (it will look like a rectangle, not the logs lol) make sure its cut into 24 squares, put each square into a cupcake liner also in a cupcake baking pan at 350°f for 7 minutes, then make your favorite cheesecake mixture and put it on top of the cookies and bake it at 350°f for 17 minutes, they are sooo good 🤤
I’m a babysitter for 4 boys. They are all under 9 and the youngest are twins. I never let them out of my sight and they are never far from me. I can’t imagine locking a child outside. You just don’t do that, period.
My yearly dish that I make to bring are pumpkin rolls. It's a hit no matter who's house I'm bringing it to and regardless of whether it's my usual family, new family or friendsgiving I have yet to run into someone IRL that has had pumpkin rolls for dessert at Thanksgiving or any other time.
I had a babysitter when I was young and she would pretend to be dead and then become a zombie or something and chase me. She would make scary noises & faces. Whatever she did it terrified me. And I would hide under my bed crying. It’s so trash that babysitters scare little kids like that.

i had a babysitter that would make us finish any food she gave us...no madder what. she would also take us outside all at ones and when she did we weren't allowed to go inside. she made us go to the bathroom on the porch in front of all the other kids. (she usually had around 30 kids, girls and boys) you would only be allowed to go inside if you were over 12 i went there for 3 years thinking it was normal. i also didn't like being here alown without my brother and when he wasn't there i would cry, she yelled at me for crying which made me cry harder. i don't go there now, but when we see her she acts like it was all fine and like nothing happened.
Right I had a baby sitter that I have weird memories about! She was middle aged but I thought she was pretty. But she would punish me in weird ways for weird shit. One of the weirdest memories I have is my mom dropping me off... I had a baby bottle I was drinking from and when the babysitter (Cindy) opened the door she snatched it from me and said I was too old for that. Later in life other neighborhood kids said she would sit on their chests when they got in trouble. My sister who was 8 years older had like a feud with this woman. She hated my teenage sister. Cindy would go looking into basements at night with a flashlight (mostly my sisters) and call the police because she was convinced she was throwing a party. It was a sleepover.
I live in a gated neighborhood so everyone knows if someone does not belong. One time there was a criminal that had been on the run and he was in our neighborhood. for a few weeks, no one knew what had happened to him but we were still on the look out (I was like 12). My neighbor that lived behind me was on vaca a lot. a few weeks later, when they got home, the criminal had been living IN THEIR HOUSE. He was caught a week later.
the ax story with the thirteen year old thinking she's about to die protecting the children legit made me cry! I babysat at that age soooo much and something like that was legit my worst nightmare
Ok that first story TERRIFIED me. I didn’t sleep last night. I’ve had so many dreams about that same thing happening to me, where someone is running after me trying to get me.
Someone that my sister new met a guy on tinder and they went on a date. Everything was normal and at the end he asked if she wanted to go on another date. She said yes but they couldnt go on one for a while because she would be house sitting all week. She was house sitting and she heard a noise down stairs. Banging. She got scared and called her mom and her mom told her to call the cops, but she shook it off and went to bed. The next night she heard it again and called her mom. Her mom told her to call the cops and this time she did. The cops came and they found her tinder date in the basement of the house, nailing tarps to the walls and there was knives and saws everywhere. The cops asked him what he was going to do and he flat out told them that he was going to cut her up.

Maybe the babysitter was like a stand in for the real babysitter. Maybe who ever the mother had to babysit the child, couldn't do it or quit without telling the mother and just told one of their friends or something to go in their place. Idk. Just a theory.

I was 4 and she was making me pray (I didn’t start talking tell I was almost 4 and could barley speak at this point) and was prouncing everything I could say wrong. She wouldn’t let me eat Untill I said everything in this long prayer correctly. She would hit me when i messed you a word or cried. I wouldn’t eat all day because I couldn’t pronounce the words right. I brought it up to my mom a few years ago and she said that this never could have happened because only my grandma watched me at this point. This women was way to young to be my grandma and I still have no idea who that was but no it actually happened
