Just run this beside my Leupold SX4 15 and 45 by 65 scope the maven is noticeably brighter and more compact with a slightly clearer view but it falls off and gets a tad blurry around the edges I'm giving it sort of a rolling ball whereas the Leopold has edge to edge clarity just a tad darker and a tad less clear the Leopold also outperformed it looking into the sun and there was dust in the air that the Leopold was able to peer through when the maven couldn't that said the maven still performing well and had great clarity I think for $200 cheaper it's worth it
After doing some research the only differences are their weight and all other aspects are nearly identical as though they were built by the same Chinese factory and this Maven is made in CHINA just like the best in class and much cheaper Athlon Ares UHD spotter.
Also rather shocked to learn many of Maven's binoculars are made in CHINA as well. I think I'm sticking with Tract Optics mostly made in Japan and very few of their lower end budget riflescopes are made in the Philippines not China.
I just got mine today and took it out that has noticeable fall off around the edges giving it a rolling effect but The Sweet spot is clear did you have the same effect or should I send mine back
Hope you sent it back for refund and bought the much cheaper best in class Athlon Ares UHD instead which is also made in China just like this Maven spotter.

I forgot to mention the maven was noticeably more magnified than the Leopold even though they were the same power they gave me a closer look
Thanks for sharing
