- When Kintaro plays with Gentaro, Kintaro turns behind Gentaro and bites his back.
Looking at the scene, I remember the scene where Momotaro and Gentaro were playing.
This may be the gorilla's wisdom to not loose even if the body is small.
⚠️⚠️⚠️Visitors are kept away from the glass to prevent the gorilla from getting the virus.

⭐️モモタロウ Momotaro ♂(2000/7/3)
momotaro was born at Ueno zoo in Tokyo on jul.3,2000 and came to our zoo on Oct.18,2010.
He is beautiful and handsome ,the silverback of our troop.
He is a little timid,and scared of new things.
He sometimes shows lovely behaviors that melt our hearts.
He is making efforts to be a good dad for his two sons.
⭐️ゲンキ Genki ♀(1986/6/24)
Genki was born at our zoo on Jun,24,1986.
After mating with several males without a pregnancy she found her perfect partner.Momotaro.
Now she is a loving and caring mom for her two sons.
She sometimes behaves boldly,yet she can also be sensitive.
Genki has a cute face with shining eyes.
⭐️ゲンタロウ Gentaro ♂(2011/12/21))
Gentaro was born at our zoo on Dec.21,2011,as Momotaro and Genki's first son.
Unfortunately Genki didn't have enough milk,so he was nursed by keepers for his first 10.5 months.
Now he loves his mom,and his face really looks like her.
He also loves people .
Everyone immediately agrees that he is a very adorable boy.
⭐️キンタロウ Kintaro ♂(2018/12/19)
Kintaro was born at our zoo on Dec.19,2018.
He has big bright eyes and long eyebrows.
He is growing fine ,being loved by his parents and brother.
He love to play by himself,with his father.
He is still small, but smart and strong-willed.
His cute appearance and behavior attract everyone's interest.

Momotaro has more patience than me with my kids. Love seeing his interaction with his kids. Gentaro is so playful, but that kintaro is fiesty. Love this Gorilla family ❤
That silverback is such an amazing looking creature. Gorillas never cease to amaze me. The simple fact they even exist is bonkers.
I have been studying silverbacks all my life , I'm 59 years old so a lot of years .Momotaro is one of the most beautiful, handsome and gentle silverbacks I have ever saw. To witness such a strong and massive soul be so gentle is remarkable. This little family is such a beautiful love story. Thank you so much for giving us this opportunity to watch them grow into this awesome family.
Kintaro imitating what he saw Gentaro and Momotaro playing together. Everyone is so gentle with one another. 🥰
Not much difference in someone playing with there child of about two years old. They were defiantly having a blast. I enjoyed every second of it.
Kintaro is growing into an Alpha ...no fear. Very smart and determined. What a great father Momotaro is to the boys.

Momotaro is a magnificent animal. Though they appear content enough, I can't help but feel sympathy for them cooped up and on display. In a perfect world he and his family would be living free and protected in the mountains of Africa.

I haven’t watched in awhile. Mom isn’t hovering as much and feels more confident about Kintaro’s safety. And I see her in the background eating..... somethings don’t change. 🤣

Gentaro is about that age to leave his family and have a troop of his own soon. He's getting more brave but more smarter as well. Love watching his play rough with dad but gentle with his brother

I learned that the Silverbacks only get to touch and play with their kids if the mother allows it.
There's a zoo in Britain in which the mother does not allow hubby to even touch his sons. His oldest son tries and tries to get daddy to play with him, but daddy has to sit still and just watch his oldest son's antics.

I love the way the silver back is playing along. He obviously could call this quits reeeeal fast but he plays like he can't move can't reach allows and doesn't overreact with anger to the biting. Man I could've used a dad like that growing up lol

I think Momotaro needs another female or 2 to keep him content....he's the only gorilla dad in a zoo I've seen with 1 female.....poor guy they are supposed to have a harem....😉
Remember Genki does not due well with other females - she chewed her fingers off. But she is much older now and maybe feels more secure as first wife. So it would be interesting
