Mentioned near the start that you don't need a god tasliman, the goal is to get your element from the talisman which you could do with a 3-1-1 or a 2-2-1 without any consideration for skills. Rolling for slots isn't hard. Reality is if you want every dps skill in the game you need god talismans, if you don't have those you need to sacrifice some damage or utility.

I don't really like dereliction or bloodlust so I went for furious lv 3, Mail of hellfire lv 1 and chain crit lv 1 instead. It's comfortable yet can dish out good damage with Def boost 7, Crit eye 7 (Thunder: Crit eye 6), Element boost 5, crit boost 3, weakness exploit 3, stun resist 3, razor sharp 2 and evade extender 2. I still don't find Crit elem good since it's only 15% so I rather wait for Silver Rathalos on future title update for possible True crit elem instead.
Great videos, just discovered your channel for the Swaxe build video. Btw, how do you "get" god charms on pc? I tried the charm editor on nexus but I can only give 2 skills per charm
For bombing a monster with dbs instead of using kunai I'd suggest using the I-frames from demon flight to detonate them it does more damage that way and is pretty safe overall and lets you keep attacking the monster and if you're using ironshine silk it procs it so you get a cheeky little sharpen in while you wake it.
opinions on spiral slash v piercing bind? im honestly having issues with which is better despite knowing piercing is incredibly situational and i would guess better on a raw build over ele, or is it very much a preferance choice?

i just dont get it dragonblights says on wiki that - Nullifies elemental and status damage on weapons . so how does valsrtrax soul jewel dmg 20percent increase dmg will work if elemental damage is nullify? can someone explain it to me? thanks
Just a quick question regarding the dragon build. Wouldn't crit element be kinda pointless with full val set since dragon blight messes with your elements or does the set do something about that?

You know, I got a Divine Blessing 3/Spiribird's Call talisman with a level 3 and 2 deco slot and thought it was pretty mid, but seeing these builds and how hard Afflicteds hit...I think I'm just gonna stick with that until I get a god level talisman lol

That's from popping the anomaly spot. All the anomaly monsters have these red glowly spots that you need to damage to burst. When they burst it deals high damage to the monster (and shows up in red).
why not use helion mode rampage skill with razor sharp attack boost crit element and crit boost wouldnt that do more dmg havent played dual blades in sunbreak yet so im just guessing here :d

@@FightinCowboy basiclly stay on red scroll for like a while, u see yellow smoke, then switch scrolls and u have infinite stamina for over a minute it feels like a long time too. Once u get the timing u can go ham
@@FightinCowboy While on red scroll within about a minute and thirty seconds of being in combat status you'll gradually go from [No effect] 0:00 > [White cloud effect] 1min~> [Yellow cloud effect] 1:30~. When you're yellow you can swap to blue and use the effect for a predetermined amount of time. (Also in activation you'll have a thunder effect as well which is pretty neat. It's basically like you become furious over time of fighting. Just like an actual monster!)
I wouldn't play them raw TBH, DBs have really good elemental values so so playing them raw is leaving a bunch of damage on the table. It's like a burger with just the meat and the bun.
With critical boost and crit element more is certainly good but it's difficult to fit with this setup. To fit it in I would have to drop out do unique bonuses like bloodlust and dereliction
@@joshwhite557 it is a crazy good charm but at the end of the day its a couple % less damage with the attack boost, as long as youve got a charm with those slots and maybe a point in wirebug whisperer or two youll be fine its not the end of the world
Bro that life loss is hot garbage though. I mean every one is just creamin their panties at the numbers these new skills give but the life loss is just not worth it at all. It is a terrible trade off.

I thought it was already known for elements dual blades try put it on your talisman to use the other slots on your Armor. Such as grinder or defensive

No it's possible, the game has built in checks and anything that's beyond normal capabilities is deleted.
Did you ever think to pick up narwa chest and archfiend waist instead for 3 chain crit and 2 wex?

I'm using the charm editor as well, make sure you're seeing info on maximum combinations so you don't bug out and crash your game.

Death Stench boots are great for Switch Axe, every skill it has is needed for basic SWA built

Spiral is better for ele, but piercing + demon dance will do more raw so I run both and use them per situation

Could always add the sharpness silkbind in on one of your scrolls

It's a unique bonus of the valstrax set, without that set dragonblight will nullify your elemental damage.
Nullifies every element except dragon element. So you lose fire, water, ice, thunder if you use it.

I've heard that the dual elements may not be good as the buildup on each is halved (each blade gets one element)

So specifically, the dragon blight you get from valstrax armour does not mess with your elemental damage, which is part of what makes it so good.

To be clear it doesn't mess with dragon elemental damage. You couldn't do a dragonheart fire or ice build

I may be wrong but I believe the elemental boost to demon mode applies to status as well so a blast build should be incredible also
Could slap on blast and see if the number goes up when you activate demon mode.

How exactly does it work? I tried it with bow and couldnt figure out the "fury building" aspect, smacked the dummy for 2 minutes and got nothing

Yup, I'll be on vacation next week so I'm dropping a build each day starting sunday. Hammer, greatsword, bow, IG, gunlance, and HH are all on the way

If you can somehow fit it, but we're at 70% affinity already which is pretty good.

3-1-1 any skills isn't rare at all, you won't have every damage skill without modded charms, hence the recommendation for a basic 3-1-1
