**UPDATE** Blizzard secretly added an add that you have to kill when you save Stavros for last! Once per 50% of his health, he will spawn dancers all around the room that explode after a few seconds, but one of them is attackable. If you run to this add and kill it fast enough, there will be a safe spot where it was standing to avoid all of the other dancers' explosions. Save cooldowns for this add if you need to, because a Dark Recital happens at the same time and many people will need to be moving while killing it. Here's my first kill: www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/FLYKwtQqjW1RG9BV#fight=21 - Zax
Just a note: Stavros' final ability is not a simple dodge-the-dancers. The room will be filled with dancers and you need to find the only one clickable dancer and dps it down asap. Killing that dancer frees up a square for the raid to stand in to avoid the wipe mechanic. It's really difficult to pull it off, so I wouldn't suggest killing Stavros last. My group did Nik > Stav > Fried because Frieda's final ability affects the tank more, plus the heals can handle the raid wide damage better.
But Frieda does so much AoE dmg with her second abillity.. so much extra stress on the healers. Also one missed Kick usually means a wipe. We did Frieda, Stavros and last Niklas but i guess every raid will have to find their own way because not every raid has the same setup, player numbers or Itemlevels :P This fight gets significantly easier with Itemlevel on all 3 difficulties.
My winning strat was Nik > Frieda > Stav, by this point most groups should be able to meet the dps check for phase 3, and Nik first gets rid of the raid wide damage from waiters and dps loss from them, because doing Nik second is actually pretty tough
So much this. Just experienced this tonihjt. We switched and got it first try doing Nik-Stav-Frieda. We wiped 3 times on Stav dancer explosion. You can’t even see the square and if the dark recital pair comes in the square it also wipes the raid. It’s horrible
@@ryanm6699 my new raid team has been doing Stav, Fried, Nik, but not gonna like the last phase is hectic as fuck but if you have the aoe it’s a breeze
Subscribed. Honestly, the best guide format I've seen. Could you tell me what addon or ui it is that shows the enemies' castbars underneath their nameplates?
As a tank can i dodge Stavros his charge aswell? @1:22 the tauren tank seems to move sideways but if i check his healthbar i still think he got hit. If someone could verify this to me I would be very thankful. As a small friend group + pugs we managed to kill 6 bosses already thanks to your guides ! Thanks for your time and effort, have fun and enjoy the game Kind regards
Is it missing the part where you have to burst down the only targetable dancer and then stack on it’s dead body to avoid all the other dancers turning into red pools of death? Or is my guild hitting some enrage mechanic? We get it when the last guy in kill order is only boss alive
Yea I was wondering if it was missing from the video or if we were messing something up. It’s from Stavros or w/e his name is being last alive. It’s called dancing fools. We beat it finally lol
Great guides, I love them. Have you guys think of adding subtitles in Spanish for example, with the respective translated spell names?? o: Thank youuu, keep up the great work!
Thank you, glad you like them! UA-cam recently made adding additional subtitles a lot harder, so unfortunately we can't really add them unless someone sends us their own translation in a .srt file. It's really weird haha. - Zax
On taunt swap do you remain at the same spot and let the bosses run thus causing the whole raid to move or is there another way? Also for some reason 90% of the raids prefer the N-S-F order. Is it disadvantageous in your opinion?
For the taunt swap, there's really no need to move at all. Just stack them all and try to point the charge away from the raid. Any order is possible at this time and I think the consensus is that Frida last is the easiest if your DPS could be lacking. - Jim
Hey! Was just wondering if stavros is left as the last boss alive, according to guides such as the one from wowhead and complexity limit, there is a targettable waltzing venthyr that we have to kill in order to create a safe space. I was wondering if that was true for normal and heroic difficulties?
Those waltzing venthyr are from older testing. Blizzard changed this fight a million times, so many guides probably have information from the first 5 times the fight was tested. That mechanic and a few other ones totally changed, but our guide is up to date with the latest changes! - Zax
don’t know why, but all your natharia vids cut in and out on me when showing the diagrams and the recaps. the footage of the fights never cuts out tho.
Haha so we only know the strat after we've tested. But, Frost actually does get cool down reduction from aoe abilities so it's actually not wrong in this case. -jim
I really think stavros shouldn't left last, the find and kill dancer ability sucks for poor geared guilds, you can't event burst that quickly. I suggest killing him 2nd or first.
I like how you openly state it's a single target fight. Then you show footage of you ignoring your own advice and using blizzard to pad your dps. Cute.

I love every fight that gives me a haste buff.
You deserve so much more views I love your guides!
So good and so clear! Perfect guide, thank you!
Thank you! Couldn't find anyone with an updated video of this fight. So excited for it to go live.
Making the best guides out there! keep it up :)
bro i love this guy's energy. best guides imo
Thanks so much! -Jim
man this fight is sick
Great job! Keep it up guyz! Cheers
Love your "pulling" intro
😂😂 thanks! -jim
You guys remind me of The old LOS guides I love it
I need to know what's up with grubs just /dance-ing in the bosses face hahaha

That's actually just in the default Blizzard UI, same with the nameplates themselves.

we got the same thing, not sure if its enrage or not though
What you describe is the current itteration of the fight, not what is in this video.

We kill Nicklaus, Stavros, and Frieda last - just set up an interrupt rotation for Frieda. Her final ability is not difficult to deal with at all.
Just going by the titles of each member of the council it would seem blizzards intended order is Nicklaus/Frieda/Stavros.
On taunt swap do you remain at the same spot and let the bosses run thus causing the whole raid to move or is there another way? Also for some reason 90% of the raids prefer the N-S-F order. Is it disadvantageous in your opinion?

@@ReadyCheckPull thanks a lot!
the hardest thing about this boss is the multi targetting as melee, it fucking sucks

@@ReadyCheckPull Did this last night...that Waltzing Venthyr is still there.
@@ReadyCheckPull the target able venthir is indeed the final mechanic, and it sucks. I couldn't find one group that could get past it

I like how you explain to Single target dps and the footage shows a frost mage blizzard on the bosses. Great guide nevertheless

he was probably trying to get CDR on frozen orb which will give more FoF procs which is most of frost’s damage (ice lance)
@@ReadyCheckPull and also u said to kill Freida first but i see Niklaus dying
@@vlaiden05 The video said that the incorrect order is shown in the footage. Did you even watch?
Blizzard is actually st increase on 2targets
Aaaand then u wipe because it wasnt mentioned that u have to kill dancers at the end to survive raid wide aoe...

Single Target priority fight - Mage Spam casting blizzard in video
Well it reduces cooldown of our Frozen orb. That's the main reason. It's part of rotation with 2+ target.
also if he got glacial fragments legendary its understandable
"this is a single target fight and everyone should build their character that way" Proceeds to blizzard in every clip lolol
I don't like that intro at all

Or ya know, getting Frozen Orb off CD faster...
I feel like in a show for preschoolers with a voice over like that
