Every year the opening and closing of the parliament, the schools matches, its a joyously occasion, for all Tongan, as you could see, education is very important to Tongan, and Queen Salote, the famous Queen of Tonga ensure that not only all Tongan but women of Tonga have the privilege to have educated, all Tongan can read.and write, then if you have the opportunity to go overseas to further study, so many Tongan have finish high school, NZ and Australian HSC but unable to financially continue due to financial hardship, I went through the Tongan Educational system, then to Queen Salote nursing school, before moving to ZN, work at The Auckland Hospital, Ongology, then finished up in Sydney, but I'm a product of the Tongan school system, I'm always proud to be Tongan,
