- Nothing is more relaxing than staying alone in an off-grid cabin. The peace and quiet the forest brings is second to none. This Cabin rents for $30 dollars a night. All I had to do, was hike three miles up a mountain, bring water, food, and my sleeping gear. The hike was intense, but the views were breathtaking!

It would take me two days and 6 gallons of water to get there I'd have to take a tent and stay overnight on the trail on the way to the tent LOL

I built a log cabin back in 1972 on Aziscohos Lake 9miles back on a logging road caught trout salmon smelt shot partridge rabbits and deer turned a couple hundred people over 40years, life was good, still Ok old age is chewing me up ,life's been good to me but as tough ad it gets. Camping by canoe hihing,music around the campfire. MY kids got a good taste of the wilderness, moose loons eagles partridge squirrel steal an entire donut on a beautiful morning, fell through the ice at night with skis on,survived. It's been good, not much time left on my clock,enjoy life be kind.David Latham.

I thought this was getting boring but then soon as he was done making his dinner he started giving thanx to our Lord n Saviour for dinner n safety,bravo my friend, And it is said: he who denies me in front of man I will deny him before my father in heaven Thanx again
We use my husband's bosses cabin and it's always a good time. It's in the mountains in Pennsylvania just 10 minutes from my home in the valley. It's primitive as in there isn't any plumbing but it is wired for electricity if you bring a generator and it gas a propane stove and oven. Usually it's a group of us that all work or have worked on the dairy farm. Buck season is our biggest week at the cabin.
To my delight, I accidently stumbled into this gem of a video. This on many levels is one of the coolest episodes. My sister has been trying to convince me to move from CA to Washington. I might just do that one day. Baum G, another hit in my book. God bless you always. 🤠👍⛺

Une nourriture toute simple en pleine nature dans un endroit tranquille.... Il n’y a rien de mieux... J’ai hâte à la fin de semaine prochaine où je retourne moi aussi en montagne pour la chasse à l’orignal... Mais outre la chasse, grands espaces, tranquillité, nature et bonne nourriture seront au rendez-vous. Belle vidéo encore une fois, j’ai passer un bon moment.
C'était un voyage fantastique! Je pourrais rester dans une cabane dans les bois pour la vie. Une telle expérience merveilleuse. S'éloigner des affaires de la vie vous fait apprécier davantage les choses. Merci Stéphane!

You're just one mile away right in the sea, all alone for 24 hours. Hard to believe ! I'll tell you about it if I can manage to spend a day over there !

Great place to stay alone with nature. Only the 3 mile hike was i think a little bit to much. But another great movie kenny!
It was definitely a beautiful place! The hike was the worst part lol. Having to pack all my gear up that hill was challenging!

We always carried a hiking stick with bells to alert bears. Also, don't wear any scents or perfumes...they attract bears.

How they did it in Scandinavia. It's the honor system. You hike and use cabins people have along the way. You leave it as you found it.

Bad....ass!! I'm from the deep south, my GF and i went up and rented a cabin there in Packwood WA last year. We just loved it up there in WA state. We loved it so much we rented another cabin in Packwood. The cabin you are at is where I really....wanna go. Way...off the beaten path and remote. And Good Man.....for thanking God for your safe trip food and return. Did you see and animals, Elk, bear? Funny video as well!!

Most of all whether or not you're indoors or outdoors you keep the place clean

From Inside it looks like one room...but when you go out to the wood pile outback...looks like another roof...like it should be an add-on or another room or is that just a shelter for some of the fire wood?
I believe it’s just wood storage! Had so much fun on this trip 😊

Possibly. Some of the areas were pretty steep though. There was another way I could have gone that wasn’t as steep but was 2 miles longer. So maybe on that one!
