    I SERIOUSLY love your Channel. You cook good comfort HOME cooked meals people can eat everyday ... Not like those other chef channels who cook gourmet meals that wouldn't be considered home or everyday meals

    will my turkey wings come out tender if I don't soak them in buttermilk? or is the buttermilk in actual tenderizing agent?..I'm ready to go fry my turkey wingd now but I haven't soaked them

    What a wonderfully delicious looking recipe! I want to make these but turkey wings are really hard to find here in California. Looks like I need to search even harder now.

    Wow!!! I never thought to use buttermilk for frying turkey. I usually do that for chicken. Looks delicious, did you use peanut oil to fry the turkey wings?

      I know this comment is old. But when you brine your meat it actually brings the flavors into the meat so the brine on the outside is kinda like the excess. Not the greatest explanation but hopefully it makes sense

      @@whome7498 um actually watch "good eats" episode with Alton Brown and marinades. He explains how deep the brine permeates the protein.

    I would try this recipe however, I am seriously allergic to paprika. So, I would just use the allspice. :)

    I've tried this before with regular size turkey wings and they came out with tough meat.. I had to try it again . I had to boil them and fry them

      You can actually fry poultry too long. I know it has to be done, but not overdone. Don't fry them to death. Think like a chef.

      I deep fried some turkey wings a few months ago (first time) and the meat was tough. I believe they were overcooked. Pretty color, but too tough.

      I was taught to boil them before frying...my Turkey wings come out tender and flavorful everytime...I'm making some today for dinner ❤

      @@quenquen200726 I did a video on it...but you boil them about 30-45 mins...until they are a tad under cooked then fry until til golden and they are nice and tender

    Great recipe, but a bit of a tip : when you use your scissors to split the wing, snip off the wing tips, as well ; this shall allow more room to, thoroughly fry, plus the tips are nice and crispy ! I enjoy your channel ! ✂. ✂. 👍👐

    Wait, how was that considered brining? A brine requires a lot more salt. Great recipe though.

      There is more than one type of brining, although they do basicly the same thing. You can brine with salt water or with buttermilk (which naturally have a little salt in it, which is part of the reason she suggest to rinse off the excess, so we don't get a sodium overload).
      Thanks for the recipe; I love iheart channel and the wonderful recipes you share. Another thing, I'm not as patient as some people. I usually par-boil my wing pieces in a pot of boiling water, with 1-2 chicken flavored bouillion cubes, 1tbsp of garlic powder, onion powder, season all seas. (Add an uncut clean pepper if you want a little heat.) Cook 1 hour, till fork tender. Remove from pot. Continue on with the rest of the recipe that was given. Discard boiled water and pepper from the pot. I hope this helps someone. Much love. Take care.

    Sounds good, but those look like chicken wings. Those are the smallest turkey wings I have ever seen.
