Hello @Geeta-g7, You can create a binary trading money management sheet in Excel by setting up columns like Date, Trade Type (Call/Put), Investment Amount, Return Amount, Profit/Loss, and Balance. Use formulas to calculate profits/losses and update the balance after each trade. You can also implement money management rules like fixed percentage risk per trade. Follow these detailed steps: 1. Setup your columns: Date: Date of Trade Trade Type: Call/Put Investment Amount: Enter manually (e.g., 100) Return Amount: Enter manually (e.g., 180) Profit/Loss: Formula: =Return Amount - Investment Amount Balance: Formula: =Previous Balance + Profit/Loss 2. Calculate Risk : Risk % Per Trade: Formula: =Balance * Risk Percentage (e.g., =Balance * 0.02 for 2% risk) 3. Stop-Loss Calculation: Stop-Loss: Set a fixed amount or percentage. For example, if your stop-loss is 5%, the formula would be =Investment Amount * 0.95 (this gives you the stop-loss value). Cumulative Profit/Loss: Formula: =SUM(All Profit/Loss Cells) Balance Calculation: Start with your initial balance (e.g., $1,000) and update it after each trade using the formula =Previous Balance + Current Trade Profit/Loss. Create charts (e.g., balance over time) to visually represent your trading performance. Regards ExcelDemy
Hello @aquibx, Thanks for watching our video. To show Risk/Reward as 1:1 or 1:-1 you can follow the steps given below: Select the first cell in the Risk/Reward column where you want to apply the formula. Enter the following formula in the I5 cell: =TEXT(I5, "0.0") & ":1" OR =TEXT(I5, "0") & ":1" Drag the fill handle down to apply the formula to the rest of the cells in the column. If you want you can show Risk/Reward values directly in ratio. I updated our existing Excel file for you: www.exceldemy.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/how-to-create-a-forex-trading-journal-in-excel-Ratio.xlsx In the Updated(Ratio) sheet, the Risk and Reward column was added to show the values for further calculation. Regards ExcelDemy
