This is why I hate social media. It gives cowards and complete strangers a platform to break spirits. Luxx is a star. She's a great queen forced to deflect the words of jealous people because she loves herself, like we all should. Luxx, you are a winner baby! I'm SO proud of you!
My heart breaks to hear someone so hardworking and talented not want to win because of the backlash. As a Black drag race fan, it is always my concern how people will react to Black contestants. Black contestants get so much negativity on social media.
Luxx has always been and continues to be that girl. There are so many older Black queer people who see Luxx's confidence, brilliance, talent, success, nerve, etc.. and smile. We stan and uplift Luxx Noir London out here in these streets!
she reminds me of a young RuPaul so much tbh, just in the sense that this person is a star and you can't tell them otherwise. some people just know their worth and do the homework. it's so impressive to me that she knows herself at such a young age. I wish her nothing but success

Omg I absolutely love Luxx’s love story - the fact that she and her partner have been together and monogamous for so long is definitely admirable. There’s certainly no problem with polyamory or being “open,” but I guess I’m just one of those hopeless romantic types who only wants/needs one man & one partnership. I feel like that’s suuuuuuper rare in our lil’ community.
Daya Betty is also in a monogamous long-term relationship I believe! I'm glad that being poly/open is becoming more acceptable, but as someone that leans monogamous, it makes me happy to see people making long-term monogamy work.

The more I hear Luxx talk the more I love her, she really knows who she is and what she wants and deserves. And she hit the nail on the head, people who are unhappy with themselves are threatened by people who are happy. And she has influenced many people, including myself to feel more confident and self assured.
i love anetra but as someone who watched the season a little later and without hearing the fandom, seeing luxx get cut at the finale just felt so wrong, like, would sasha probably have eaten her up in the lip sync? absolutely, but not only would her track record put her on top2, she was also way better than anetra at the finale itself? like what could she even have done?

Well, I think people don’t relate with not having a struggle. I’m glad there are gay people now that don’t have a complicated relationship with their family, and I’m glad that things are getting better. Does it sometimes makes me bitter, thinking that why were things not easier for me? Yes. But that doesn’t take away from the fact that a person like Luxx deserves to not have those struggles

I became a Luxx fan since the "Meet the Queens" video. She is super talented and gave us great tv like "Well yes" and 40" wig gate. Luxx deserves better treatment from the fandom. I hope she goes on All Stars and wins.

Love love love Luxx- so smart and savvy and talented. She’s a full package queen and and really was the narrator for her season. So happy to see her pushing past haters and thriving, she’s a star 💯. (Tho I must say the facial adornments she has on here are definitely…..a choice… but ya gotta swing big and they can’t all be home-runs 🫖)
Whats strange is that from the second she walked into the workroom her confidence never bothered me. I was like good for her for being so young and knowing how to love and appreciate herself. But then again, i guess that how secure and confident people react to secure and confident people.

I deal with what Luxx deals with on a way smaller scale. I try to be kind, make people feel good, make people feel appreciated, but yet there's always one person, usually a woman (im not a pick me, dont try it) who doesnt like me. Ive figured out that me being authentic reflects energy back to people that wish they could be authentic or vulnerable but are too afraid. They see all of my flaws and wonder how I can still be authentic when they cant do the same. Well sucks but dont make it my problem. You can bend over backwards to be kind, helpful, and people STILL will act like you are the problem because of the way they feel about themselves. Stop trying to make me the bad guy and go to therapy babes.
For all of my girlies out there who can relate, never stop being the person you are regardless of how people may take it. People will want you to shrink so that they dont have to work harder to make themselves feel bigger. Dont do it. You know how hard it is to be you. Keep shining

So sorry to hear what Luxx when through during the airing of the show (i did not know cause I just watched it and I’m not really following social media discourse around the seasons of drag race). But I feel like, as a black drag queen, being really confident makes a lot a people really uncomfortable because we are not supposed to be that. So they felt threatened by you honey, because you take a place that society doesn’t create for us. Unfortunately today every black queen going on this show and succeeding as well as you did is still not usual and you still have to fight for recognition you hugely deserve and for which your white colleagues don’t have to. So keep your head high queen 🩷🩷 just know you don’t deserve all this hate and I hope you’re surrounded by people who remind you of your light ❤️

It’s very inspiring to see someone exude such confidence without tearing people down and it’s even more inspiring to realize it started at home because they had such supportive parents. That’s very uncommon if you’re queer/poc/black/different/had absent or narcissistic parents etc. I wish we all had that growing up. It’s never too late to realize your self worth but it takes time and instead of being envious I think Luxx rubs off on you :)

It breaks my heart to hear that Luxx feels a sense of discord within herself after learning about fan feedback. Part of what is so quintessentially Luxx IS her confidence while being the ingenue of that particular season but unfortunately her edit from production was more “mean girl” than “it girl”.
I think what we saw was a difference in how people come to that level of confidence. Most people seek others to affirm or grant them the confidence they have but Luxx’s came out of adversity and strife so hers was very much an internal strength she had to draw from to survive. No one gave that to her when she was younger and the the fanbase refused to give it to her even though her meta-score track record throughout the season was #2 or #3.
It’s hard to watch a strong queen get taken down by the fanbase because Luxx should be having a meteoric ascent but is being hindered by the haters. I hope she finds time to process her experience and realign herself knowing that she did do the best and deserves nothing but recognition of that.

It's so heartbreaking to hear that Luxx wasn't feeling the love so many of us have (and still have) for her. She was in a next level top 3 on Drag Race, and I can't wait to see where her career goes next!
