Yuqi went through alot her parents were aganist her being idol bc she was a top student on her school but she promised them she will study even harder to get their permission to go and train in Korea and when she was so close to debut her grandmother was sick and her parents didn't tell her BC they were afraid she would lose her chance on debuting so she only knew after a while she was so sad but her grandmother told her to not give up and she will definitely debut and when she was trainee she didn't pressure her parents to support her financially she worked on part time jobs she practiced very hard on rap ,dance, singing and she kept on improving I'm so proud of her she deserve love and support she went through a lot #yuqiyouaredoingwell
And not to mention her vocal has always been underrated. I knew it from her predebut singing (on the street in front of random strangers) that she's got huge potential and artistry in R&B and ballad. So proud of her!

I LOVE unique voices and Yuqi's is definitely high on my list. She's my favorite vocalist in (g)i-dle with Minnie coming in second. I'm so proud of her for always putting herself out there. I remember her on the street singing for random people and opening herself up for their critique. Our Yuqi has always been as brave as she is charming.
