Hey Buckin that was just nothing short of awesome. It’s really a pleasure to watch you and your son cutting and falling timber. Just great. Have a wonderful day. 👍👍👍❤️
Absolutely love this man . Every think he says and does works 100%. Even how to sharpen chains . Very clearly explained thumbs up to you buckin ray 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Buckin Billy ray..... I jumped on this channel and family, I think you had 20 or 30 thousand. Now look at you go bud! Almost 200 thousand!.??? Love wins brother. So proud to be along with ya and thanks for the lessons and inspirations. YOUR DOING IT MAN AND MAKING A DIFFERENCE.KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Talk about motivation. I'm new to the channel, but I cannot stop watching, and learning. You've been such an incredible inspiration to me. I love to burn wood for heat in these odd Ozark Winters. Nothing better than the smell of red oak on the fire. I watched your sharpening video and learned most of what I was doing, well, I was way off. And those classic Ford's! I'm a Chevy guy, but those are some work horses you have there. Thanks for all the knowledge and especially all the kindness in your videos. We need so much more of this in today's world. Keep up all the good work. I'll be watching.
Heya Buckin n army! What a wonderful day to be alive. Hogan and that P38 are a good lookin pair! Everyone stay safe n healthy, have a wonderful week y’all!
Back to viewing your vids. This one was a real education to watch for a know-nothing about felling like me. Went through it twice to see all the work you two did together. What a smooth working team! Thanks for al the setups and great camera angles. I really enjoyed it. Be safe, I’m working on being kind. It’s very important.

Fantastic job boys, true professionals!! Better safe than sorry by falling the Redwoods. Did not realise that it is so soft. Nice to see you boys climbing together !! Take care, be safe. Love and kindness to all subscribers old and new. Regards Graham🇬🇧🇬🇧❤️
Hello Buckin! I’ve been watching consistently sine like 17,000 subs, but I guess I’m what you’d call a sleeper subscriber since I comment rarely because I’m usually watching on the go. I enjoy this channel for its lack of negativity, and I share most of your interest to a point it’s almost creepy. Thanks a lot for the videos!!!
Hay Every 1 Look @ Them Subs Eh ! Thumbs Up All. Pioneer Sure Has Some Snotttt ! Great Job Fellas Hope All Are Well & Healthy ! Prayers & Hugs For Bo-Bo & Family ! ATB T God Bless
The way you treat your job. Like hit it hard and know your craft. Yet have fun. I used to do that when I was a concrete mason. 45 years and I had learned a little. I have big time respect for your knowledge and experience. And think it's awesome how you have a good time doing it. If you can't have fun doing your job then it's not the job for you. I've taught so many men but the biggest part was do it your way but safety and enjoy the feeling of a good days hard work.
Thanks for the "timber" buckin! Yeah, I caught it . I'll show my boy in the morning he had a long day it was his birthday today , the big 4 ! . Thanks again man !
Your jobs would be great for drone footage; you're in beautiful country. But I'll watch them regardless. You and August have different styles, and you both do a great job. Keep up the good work! 😉👍
Think about buying a drone, they're not that much expensive and we would have a great view! Love your videos sir, I'm a young boy like your son living in Vermont
Hallo you all! My thumbs are up for all of you and your loved ones! May you all be able to resist all viruses who try to attack you. Take great care and remember all the precautions! Stay cool and calm. Best wishes from 🔥❤️🔥🌲🇩🇪🌲!
I was a little stressed when you let the tops go I new you were going to miss your boy but I thought you could catch his skinning rope then on the replay I noticed he was not tied into that rope. Nice work out there, my mentor always said we have to have good communication.
FYI - Used to own 6 acres of these 'weeds' The seed grows in anything - gutters, tar, cement but I loved the massive stand I had. When you buy them, you are told to plant 3 or more 'together'. They mean 6 to 12 feet apart in a triangle or square. The root ball of small roots grow together and make the stand strong. So these tiny trees were planted a foot or two apart and they grow together. My tallest topped 150' and I think taller. They grew on dew. The stand would rain every day. They love water but dew is just as good. They drop acid and the nasty glue that kills other trees below. Madrone trees could handle it and I had a single Holly on the side of the property next to the road. It is wonderful wood. Termites die in the bark but the center or cream wood is ready for them. Often the center is rotted out as the trunk lays on the ground cut or pushed over by nature. Land slides are hard on them. Earth quakes cause them to fall unless in a good root ball taking the load of swinging poles in the air. Good job - hope a saw gets the wood. Not good to burn due to the acid. Martin
Good to see Hogan get right in there, assess the trees and come up with some ideas of his own, rather than just wait for dad to tell him what to do. That’s a quality you can’t teach someone and a sign that he’ll go far. Rare to see that in young folks now
Man that P 38 has some snaaaap, to it! whew! Speaking of snap. got my 10-10a today. Worn, but good compression, got her to fire and idle. Ole girl still has som snap left! She needs a bar and chain and some love. Be cutting in no time.
Hey guys, nice job, looks like you got the same wind as we have had here for the past day or so. Ready for it to warm up a bit, eh? All the best to everyone on the channel. Robin
Buckin trust me pops he's not going to burry you with that saw, it will be his before your laid in the cold hard ground! That's what I tell my dad! Lol might as well teach him what you can... When he is willing to try it. My step son noticed the other day when Grandpa and I were working together. Grandpa why is Dad always the one running the equipment, when you to are working together? Because it just works better that way, I don't need to tell him what to do. I think it and your dad does does it... I don't need to explain it to him, he's doing it just like he was taught. Yep love working with Dad. Every chance I get. Hogan, it takes a bigger man to show affection in public. Don't be afraid to walk up an hug Dad any time you want. We the viewers won't think any less of you... In fact the young ladies will see that you are capable of showing affection... Win win and Dad won't mind when you steal his saw! Warning dad may actually hug you back... Lol
Like go pro views. See what you see. What brand camera use for wide shots Billy. Also you cut any wood for milling on saw mills. If so that be neat see if you do.
Probably to keep the front side of the hinge as low as possible - which is as low as you're willing to cut with conventional - Humboldt would raise the hinge closer to the split - that 2-3 inches of good fiber between the two stems could make the difference between the two trees falling as one or splitting and going their separate ways.
How much do you get for cutting four big trees and a small one? Did you have to cut them up and remove them too? Would be a big job to clean up too. Eric Duck, P.E. Forest Hill, Louisiana
Id love to work with you every day. Like I'm saying in the videos I watch of you and I'm saying pull the saw this way or that way and your doing exactly what I'm thinking.( Its awesome)I spend hours up in the tree and honestly this is the only thing that came natural to me like learning how to walk or ride a bike. PS love the sound of that ported saw. I got a old Husqvarna 281xp with a 288xp jug on it, thing rips.
Killer job both of you as for the p38 in his hand well it s in his possession so it must be his what’s yours is his Possession 9 tent s of the law lol 🤪🤣

Ole Ganges was just looking to get his hands on the 38. Seeing how his face just lit up when he did made me laugh. Awesome job fellas!
Same thing here 🙂
Billy, watching you stomp around those loose branches at the start reminded me of "Hacksaw" Jim Duggan's routine at the start of a bout! cheers

Some weird looking trees there. Especially that twisted codominant. Nice work!
You and Hogan did a fine job, and I can recognize the sound of that Pioneer in any video now!
Hello Buckin!. Just seen this video and I’m really sad about them red wood trees having to be cut!. They were so so beautiful!😢
I don't remember ever seeing a redwood this far north. I don't recall ever seeing or hearing of one in Washington state either.
Laurence Lance there’s lot of red wood trees here in Washington
Looks like Ganges scarfed the p38 on ya Buckin !
You make it look so easy.
Heard "Timber" for the first time on your channel 🤣🤣🤣❤️
3:03 pretty graceful!!!
Great job Men 💪 love it hope everyone is ready for spring break haha I am

Buckin's saw sounds amazing!
Beautiful wood their

Lol sure wasnt wheaties . Just testing saw for you dad. Sounded little funny but must been me. Your safe it's running real good.
HA!! Ya needed another saw like I need an extra hole in my melon..
Morning buckin I'm curious about why you went conventional on the twisted tree instead of Humboldt.
Probably to keep the front side of the hinge as low as possible - which is as low as you're willing to cut with conventional - Humboldt would raise the hinge closer to the split - that 2-3 inches of good fiber between the two stems could make the difference between the two trees falling as one or splitting and going their separate ways.
You guys are artists with a chainsaw.

You might be losing that P38 Buckin' , it looks like Ganges is takin a likin to that saw.
Be well and stay safe.
saw sounds awsome bucking
Bom trabalho rapido e eficiente,.
Hey buddy, I'm from Brasil, what does ganges mean?
I always wonder that myself, in school many years ago i thought it to be slang for marijuana 😬
@@bustedford That was ganja.
Jeffrey Rubish, 👍🏻
Just a nickname for Hogan, meant in a positive way.
Ganges Island is an Island near where Buckin' lives. I assume it is related to that.

Any timber value in those trees?
Is anybody going to saw those into lumber? You two make a good team.
