Cool vid guys! Elk hunting is my favourite too by far. Just a suggestion, try pushing in closer to those bulls as they respond to you. Make them uncomfortable to the point they have no choice to fight you. If they are responding and not quite coming in, they typically already have cows so there’s no need for them to come to you and look for a fight, so try bringing that “fight” to them. It worked for me a couple times this year, had multiple bulls within 20-30 yards, but of course no 6 points lol. Again great vid and good luck next September!
Thanks man! And thanks for the advice! We’ve tried this before and had it go really well but also had it go really bad. Been trying to find that line and learning what the bulls telling us better so we can react better. Frustrating animal to hunt but that’s what makes it so fun haha
