I have the dress in blue from last year, it holds up very well. Except the stretchy straps continued to stretch as I wore the dress . I ended up cutting the straps and shortening them. I also have the maxi dress version and that fit is amazing

That floral dress was the perfect Spring vibe and would totally be worth some altering IMO. Also, take the Target overalls in at the same time to have the slit sewn shut! I actually really love the fit of the Target ones for you and I think with that small alteration they would be perfect. I always size up about two sizes to get a loose 90’s style to My Torrid overalls and they’re so, so cute.
The length of the floral dress was very flattering. However, the black dress length looked great too. I would choose a length of a dress based on where I was going to wear it. An afternoon event like a wedding, reception, etc. I think the floral length is more approrpriate.

When I was in high-school my grandpa worked on the Wabash Railroad and I remember him giving me three pairs of the overalls he used to wear - one dark blue, a lighter pair and a pair of pinstriped ones that were my fav. They were really in back then and I thought I was hot poop! And knowing that my grandpa had worn them made them extra special. Wish I still had them. Thanks for the share. Universal Standard has a nice overall…a bit pricier than what you have been trying, but worth the money. Size up one or two sizes for the look you want…try Poshmark to get them at a discount.

With some luck you might be able to locate exactly what you're looking for. Clothing was so stinkin cute then and I was once a fashionable teenager!
It would be helpful to me if you could do a video, or talk about how you’ve figured out to navigate the Walmart website. I think it may be because they have so much, but I always find it difficult to navigate and search to come up with what I’m interested in buying. Also, on the smocked dress, it’s a matter of personal preference, but I think that the length looks really nice on you.
Love the Sophia jeans. I have the Terra and Sky smocked top dress and love it. Sometimes I use it for a beach cover up and sometimes I use it to wear right after my shower. So cool and comfortable. I do agree about the straps, Taren. They are a tad long.

The smocked dress is darling, shorter looks good on you so go for it! Hemming a full dress can be pricier than hemming pants but shouldn’t be too bad…. If that would make you wear it, seems like a worthwhile investment! The white is gorgeous on you.

I think the length is flattering but totally get wanting it shorter. It's really an adorable dress so you should keep it and get it hemmed so you'll wear it. Super cute dress but I’m the same with my dress length, I am 5’5” and I have to shorten everything. For an easy hem I use the iron on hem tape and it works great. I even use for my uniform skirts and it turns out very professional looking.
