If my cable connected to switch and other end to any device, my question is if I connected the tracker from device side is there any risk ? Am worried the power from the tracker it will damage the port in the switch !

UT683KIT can be plugged into a POE switch, but it does not have the function of detecting POE. If you need the POE detection function, you can use our UT685B KIT➡meters.uni-trend.com/product/ut685b-kit/

This device dont works in real life. I tested a ethernet cable, the device detected it ...ok thats fine, but after that I decided to put a pair of wires on shortcircuit and the device dont detected it. In real life you dont want to walk to the fifth floor one, two or three times to look if devide is working. I lost my money. Fluke intellitone is the real king in that kind of works, im sorry
