It's a very nice prop! Yes I agree I wish they would have done the bride and the hat box ghost, actually the bride was supposed to come out last year too at Lowe's but it got canceled.
I’d love to know what happened with the bride. Hopefully they’re still working on her and we’ll get her eventually. Until then I’ll happily take all of the graveyard ghosts they want to release. I’d love to see the mummy!
I'm a big Haunted Mansion fan, find it funny so many people are like "why this guy?". This guy and the Opera Singer stand out to me for top Graveyard Ghosts, so I'm happy about it. Was worried about the differences between the prototype pics and actual production pics but this looks good. Great vid guys, thanks!
I think everyone’s just surprised that a big company like Lowe’s is making a smaller character before the bride and the hat box ghost. Personally I love it, we’ll get to the others eventually. At this point I’d love for them to give us the whole graveyard. I’d especially like the mummy! I saw those comparisons as well. I totally agree, the head is a little more off than it was in the prototype but not enough for me to be worried about it. Thanks!
Relatively new to finding your channel, and happy I did! Always some great unboxings, and always great to see a happy Father/Son companionship. Keep up the great work!
Thank you so much, I’m glad you’re enjoying it! We’ve had so much fun making all these videos together. I’m so glad he had the idea to start the channel.
@JackulasCastle I absolutely am loving it! I love anything horror, pop culture. And you guys always have some great unboxings. Your collection room looks like it has some amazing pieces in it. Definitely a great Father/Son duo!
I am so happy he has volume control i have caretaker and his speaker is wrapped up with cloth because he is so loud. Very glad knight has volume control. Fun fact the knights audio is part of the original grim grinning ghosts ride audio from 1969. So his audio is accurate to the character
Me too! It was a really weird choice for them not to include volume with the caretaker. Thats awesome, I didn’t notice it while I was filming but watching the video back you could tell it wasn’t just the overall song. I hope they do the individual tracks for others as well like the opera singer. I just wish there was an easy way to make them all work together so the music lined up.
He looks awesome! Even better than the pic, which looked great. Dad, you’re looking skinny! And Jackson is growing like a weed! Can’t wait for his shopping trip videos this summer
I thought so too, really happy we ordered him! Thanks, it was way past time to make a few lifestyle adjustments! I know it’s crazy, he’s going to be taller than me in no time! Hopefully you won’t have to wait long, we’re heading out first thing tomorrow!
I like it. The head kinda of reminds me of the Dad from American Choppers. I think that was the name of that show. Last Saturday I bought the Disney haunted house from Costco! I love it. Take care guys ❤️
Us too! Hahahaha now that you mention it he definitely does, I loved that show!! That’s awesome, we were really tempted by those. Costco has been doing a really nice job with their Disney pieces. You too!
The body is surprisingly accurate to the ride and it’s honestly a cool looking prop. Though the 6ft height almost seems TOO big. He’s already headless so knocking a few inches off wouldn’t have hurt. Hopefully they will give Haunted Mansion the treatment they did for Wednesday next year and give us a couple full-sized animatronics instead of just one each year.
I agree, they did an amazing job on the body! I wonder how it measures up to the actual prop? It doesn’t feel too large in person but the closer to the ride the better. That would be amazing! At the very least we need a large prop and the Caretakers dog!
We love ours. But feel it needs a little work to bring it up a notch. Sword didnt seem to fit very well and feel it needs a panache to be more like the Marc Davis drawings even though I dont think its on the prop in the ride or just cant be seen.
He would look amazing with a little more work! All the bones are there he just needs a help! Between the factory paints limitations and Lowe’s trying to keep the costs down unfortunately some things get lost
Wow he has grown on me a lot, I didn't even know he plays grim grinning ghosts. The $300 price tag is still a bit steep for me, but I do hope I can get him at some discount.
Me too, I was a little unsure when I ordered him but I’m really glad I did. $300 definitely seemed high to me too, but even that seemed a little more reasonable after putting him together. Good luck on your hunt, I hope your able to grab one!
@@JackulasCastle thank you! Are these at their largest spots? Is that waist measurement at the belt/the smallest part of the torso? Thank you again!!!!
Sorry for the delay answering, it’s been crazy around here. The arms and legs are but the torso has the electronics inside. He’s about 65” at the shoulder.
I am a Haunted Mansion fan, I love the color work and look on this one but not the movement. I qould have love for his torso and arm to move a bit like in the ride. They could have actually used the torso movement from the gemmy bride. I'll either wait for a discount or juat pass until next year to see if we get Hatbox Ghost. Great review!
It is a shame, I’m guessing it may have had to do with the blow molded armor. Maybe it was too heavy for a small motor. I thought it was weird they didn’t include head movement with the caretaker too though. Good luck on your hunt, I hope you find one for a good price! Thanks!
I think this one definitely falls into the how big a fan are you of the source material category. The Knight doesn’t do much in the ride either. I’m guessing the bulk of the price comes from all the blow molded parts. I would assume they’re about as costly as making one with more movement but extremely cheap cloth clothing. Unfortunately almost everyone seems to have jacked the prices of their props up unnecessarily these past couple of years. Home Depot feels like the only one keeping things reasonable
@@JackulasCastle i agree. Home depot does have some awesome stuff this year, and the prices are pretty fair. I see y’all already got the new Frankenstein life-size, which I think is probably one of the best retail life-sizes to date, and is incredible value too.
@@gemmychris Yeah it’s always nice to see the Home Depot prices after looking at party city, spirit, and Lowe’s! We love the Frankenstein, I’m really hoping we get more universal monsters. The servo motors they used in him and Lilly just make them look amazing.

What a great piece!
We thought so too, he turned out really nice!
Lowes has some pretty great stuff this year!
Totally agree, we were really tempted by their sea themed props too!
Great animatronic! I am a Haunted Mansion fan. I can only get one this year so I am trying for Wednesday. Thanks for sharing.

What is the circumference of the thigh, calf, torso, and chest?
thigh 24” calf 16” chest 46” waist 34”

@@ThePenofDemocracy Yes I tried to get the largest areas. The waist is at the belt area
Are the arms, legs, and torso hollow? And how high is it at the shoulder? Would love an assembly video!

Yes fortunately he does
Okay prop, but the $300 price tag on this is insane. It doesn’t do enough to warrant the cost tbh.

Not a Haunted Mansion fan I take it?
