I've never really used brown mascara because I have dark hair and eyes so I worry that the brown would look too light or warm for my colouring but it's great for people with lighter features!
I recently replaced my UD Grindhouse too. I bought a dual sharpener from Nars and it works great and looks nice too. I think I got it on sale for $6.
I was just about to make this exact comment! I also like that the Nars stays closed better than the Grindhouse.
I recommend the abh sharpener. you can get it for $6 at Ulta and it's super good quality. I even bought another one for my mom

I've heard such good things about the nabla highlighters (and bronzers and blushes). Glad you're enjoying yours! 🙂 definitely a brand I'd like to try sometime. Very interesting watching this sort of video. I think it's great to keep an eye on spending, I don't do it as detailed as you but definitely try to keep an eye on where money is going.

It's still sitting in my shopping cart, so I haven't tried it myself yet, but I've heard that the Nars pencil sharpener is really good, and it's only a few dollars. I need to get one with the two sizes, and I've seen that one recommended more than once. Just thought I'd share in case this helps! 😺🌻

I've said this before, but I love those cover girl pencils, & I like the kind I sharpen, always has precision & I love that.
Did you sharpen it? To get the exposed part ground down? That might have helped, but wouldn't help the shade, lol

@@SarahRoseBeauty I'm on my last tiny nub of the pencil, now idk if I wanna get more. I figured you'd try everything you could think of. I have tons of brow products, I definitely don't need to buy more, also for me, it might just be the shade is a good match. I really do like to sharpen them though.
I wonder if those brown pencils would loosen up a bit if you took a lighter to the end of them just for a second.

Love it! Did you look into the party in Puerto Rico palette? It’s a bit more orange than the mimosa. We’re in spring and I’m tossing up between that and the Los Angeles one. Just want some lighter/brighter colours for summer. How do these two bh palettes compare to the one you already have? Summer in st tropeZ?
These 2 palettes are more purely colorful than the st. tropez one! that one has a few more neutral shades to anchor the bright colors. It's a bit more cohesive than Lost in LA in my opinion.
