WOW you’re an unboxing/reviewer that actually read the owners manual prior to doing a review. Very refreshing to actually watch someone who actually understands the product they’re reviewing..
I been using Rice cooker since I was 8yrs old & now in my 50s Never washed the rice in the inner pot my Mom always said that it will scratch the pot, so we always wash it in a different bowl.♥️🇺🇸
How would you say is compared to your slow cooker for meats? The Instapot is pretty bad as slow cooker, the meat comes out not as tender and the flavor is not as concentrated compared to the slow cooker
A rice cooker seems extremely useful for all kinds of different meals. I think that I will be purchasing one. It is simple to use and I am terrible at cooking so this looks perfect for me.
Thanks so much! I just ordered the bigger version of this & im so excited! I’m happy you showed how to use the slow cooker mode I’ve been looking everywhere❤️❤️❤️
I would have like to see how long it takes in each setting like oat meal setting, also would like to know how well does in the slow cooker setting compared to a slow cooker, since we all know the Instapot is terrible slow cooker.
Great video review. I actually was just given one of these by a friend that didn’t use it very much. So in the slow cooker mode is there no high or low? It is just low? And then you just set the time? It will certainly be fine, I just don’t want to over cook anything. Thank you so much!
Does the lid disassemble for thorough cleaning? I have this unit. After using it for several months, there is some accumulation of food material that has dried inside of the lid between the layers of the lid. I can see some of it when I remove the plug from the small hole in the liner. Thanks.
It's wonderful, and I'm on my second unit, but the nonstick lining of inner pot on both of them started flaking off relatively quickly, so I don't think I'll be buying it again, event though I love it. It's especially good for taking food in the car, as it had a locking latch.
+Slow Cooker Ideas Hi, thank you! The rice was started first, the carrots added 15 minutes later. From beginning to end, 37 minutes and both rice and carrots were cooked. Chicken was cooked by itself on slow cook for 4 hrs.
We have the arc-150sb but it didn’t come with steam vent shown in :54 . Is this a missing part? I’ve seen other videos where this wasn’t shown so I’m confused. My rice cooker seems to cook fine without it. Thanks in advance.
Question, I’ve just finished watching your Video which is very informative/helpful. My question for you as well as opened to all is, how does one cook black rice in this exact cooker? I haven’t bought any rice yet but I’ve been searching brands of Blk Rice as well as cookers. I believe for black rice, for every cup you had 2 cups of water, for which i take it means 4 cups of rice equates to 8cups of water ? As far as the function of the cooker, I’ll have to use the brown rice option because between the grain Blk Rice takes longer to cook. I know you’ve mentioned in regards to rice to water ratio that the inside dictates the amount needed but I’m not quite sure as I don’t want to over do it with water even if the rice takes twice the amount. Anyone help? Especially those who’ve dealt and deal with the specific rice? Please and thank you
I have the smaller version of this. I am very unhappy with the inner pot, which is difficult to clean when making oatmeal. It almost acts as if it was not coated properly with Teflon because it sticks. I had a Wolfgang Puck one previously which cleaned much easier. Anyone else notice this?
Also, it's not completely true that you can wash all parts of the pot in warm soapy water; the gasket is permanently attached to the lid, so getting that clean can be quite challenging if your soup splashes up onto the lid while cooking or traveling.
@Baby Shark That was me all through college. It still slips my mind once in a while! @@ischosenAgreed, great demo. While her accent doesn't bother me, she she sounded sing-songy when explaining some things and it started to bug me.

I bought this and absolutely LOVE IT. It sits on my counter top, I use it so often. I use it more than my slow cooker now.
Thanks for sharing :)

i just made this purchase today and so far your video was the only one i found that was VERY thorough. Thank you so much!!!
+FunMz Pearl Glad it was helpful :)
Even we couldn't review it in such great detail! (thumbs upppp)
Aroma Housewares ...trying the pot roast on slow cook function. Have any tips?
How do you keep warm feature on? It goes off after 10 or so hours.. I don't want it to go off until I tell it too! Thanks
I need to purchase spare parts for my ARC-150SB
Would like to see different ways to cook with it
@@telengardforever7783 me, too.

Great! 😀
That rice looks perfect! And at such an affordable price, too... I might have to get one for my apartment!
as a bodybuilder who eats 2 and a half cups of rice (uncooked) lol this will be a huge help
Glad it was helpful 😀

I love your voice Anita. It's somehow so soothing . Double thumbs up.
😀👍
Looks like a very useful cooker. Nice review! You're a good cook, the chicken looks delicious!
Teresa Keough Thanks, Teresa! I poured the gravy over rice with shredded chicken and added a little butter to the carrots for a complete meal :)

Just bought one of these at a garage sale for under ten bucks -- going to try your chicken in it tomorrow!
Enjoy 😉
Can you put frozen chicken inside the rice cooker on Slow Cook?
Thanks I was debating on getting one just ordered mine because of this great video! Tishia Hill
Wonderful 😁
Great video. I would like to see a video comparing this rice cooker multi cooker to an instant pot.

Great recipe, looks healthy as well, one thing i couldn't understand was did you do it all in one go or not?

Hey bestkitchenreviews! Do you know if the slow cook function is about the same as the low or high setting on a standard slow cooker?
Hi, as per Aroma, the slow cook function is high setting, ranging between: 94°C ~ 97°C (= 201°F ~ 207°F). Hope that helps :)
I need a replacement pot insert for a 3qrt pressure cooker, by Aroma. Help, how do I get one?
Do you still use this rice cooker?
One question when using the slow cooker mode do you have to add liquid?
Hi, you can add a small amount of liquid when using the slow cooker mode.
Great review. I just may have to buy one. Thanks for sharing. 😊

Hi, there are several videos on UA-cam that demonstrate making black rice in a cooker. Hope they help 😀
Have you tried pot roast for the slow cooking function?
Best reviwe ever nice job well done
Much appreciated!

How long does it take to make oat meal?

Thank you for this wonderful video, it helped me a lot.
mine is coming it said sat but i think friday i am very excited i miss rice
😀
Thank you
😁
with how much liter can you fill the cooker? in germany we don`t use the measure cups.
Hi, the included measuring cup holds 160 grams of raw rice so 10 of those cups would be a total of 1.6 Kg.
Wowww nice thanks for sharing your beautiful idea
😀
Awesome video!
Thanks 😁
most of the time my slow cook function doesn't work. I'll set it for like 5 hours, and then 30 seconds later it beeps and goes to keep warm.
How do you keep warm feature on? It goes off after 10 or so hours.. I don't want it to go off until I tell it too! Thanks
Hi, the keep warm function stays on for 12 hours. Aroma does not recommend using the keep warm function for longer.
The older ones did it. Stayed on until I turned it off. I am making Black Garlic with mine which I need it to run for 2 weeks.
Why not try I don't know... starting the warm feature again every morning and night?
very useful, thank you!
great review!
Love your video!!!👌🏿👍🏿

what the heck is flash rice????
Robin Sumner faster rice minus 10 min from normal time
Steam tray breaks at just touching it / brittle from the box
I think two Aroma cookers would be a good idea. Put rice in one and vegetables in the other, set timers.
I'm a bodybuilder, I've been eating rice 4x a day, i just realized I've never rinsed my rice.

Save your rice water. Google uses for it.
