Every boss had their own theme that sent fear down my spin, but this time. I felt nothing but sorrow because my hunter was nearing the end of their journey and one more thing stood in their way. One last thing to do before facing a great one... Set our mentor free, so he can finally rest..
The Hunter stared at Gehrman in silence, his cleaver coated in the blood of beast and men alike, before he gave his mentor the answer that he desperately wanted to hear. "I do this not for the blood or the hunt..." The Hunter pulled out a ribbon, it's once white fabric now stained a deep crimson. Gehrman could see the Hunter's eyes filled with sorrow as a tear fell from his eye. With ever such care; the Hunter gently tied the ribbon to the Saw Cleaver's handle before he spoke once more. "...I do this...to try and save at least one life tonight." The Hunter gave his mentor a solemn bow before he charged, cleaver and gun at the ready. The Hunter would save someone tonight, for those he couldn't.
it would have been an incredible and unfair experience if you only got to fight Gherman once. he gives you the choice to wake up or fight, and if you lose to him then you are forced down and beheaded. one chance to save him at the end of every journey.
That was also my thought. Souls games are known for irreversible choices, so only one chance to fight Gherman would be completely in line and in its place
@@kravich64 Same thank you for reuploading this I remember having this video on my favorites then one day it just disappeared. The voice lines in the beginning make me appreciate the music far more.
Thank you for uploading this. I have strong emotion and nostalgia tied to this game. My favorite video game of all time and one of the best songs in Bloodborne. Tried to find a video that was long and had the in game footage of the scene intead of a picture. Love the whole ambience with the waving flowers, graves, wood posts, sky, and Gehrman's wheelchair. From Software have outdone themselves in gameplay, music, atmosphere, replayability, etc. and made it all work together. One of the greatest games of all time and will be remembered as such. Still being talked about today on how great Bloodborne is. I have spent many hours in Bloodborne. Thank you.
I listened to this once then when I tried looking for it the version was gone glad it's back, I love this tune a sad tune but also addictive that I listen to it on repeat.
In case someone is wondering what happened to the channel, massive copyrights shut it down due SE OSTs in one day, no chance to appeal either. Glad to see this one was recovered 🙏

This boss fight 100% felt like that! I couldn't save anyone but I can save the hunter's mentor !

@@kravich64 if it ever gets ported to pc (please Sony i beg of you) then we could get a mod to make it real, complete with all new extra sad cutscene.
