After Negan showed up they axed and re-shot so much shit to appease the 'Little Timmies' that had stayed up past their bedtime and seen the batting and cried to momma. It needs to be dark again. It got so plastic Disney the last 3 years of regular Walking Dead.
Season 6-10 has been dramatically more expensive than Season 3 4 5 in terms of production budget and cast salary. You guys are ignorant. AMC has been giving the main show much bigger budget than early seasons.
Love how Norman reedus and Aaron Paul both weren't meant for their characters to be around long but their acting made them fan favourites and beloved by all.

With this and dead city getting a second season I can only hope that the second tells us through their journey back to America and Alexandria where hopefully after Rick and michonne’s spin off everyone is reunited which will all lead to the close of everyone’s story

I watched the Rick and Michonne spin off and thought it was very poor . I was reluctant in giving time to anymore Walking Dead …..so glad I did ……Daryl Dixon has renewed my enthusiasm for the show . I think you’re right my theory is that’s why he went to France. I think he found Rick in the CRM was trying to take him and Darrell said take me let Rick go back with his family so now Darrell hast to do a mission for the CRM and then he gets to go back and the same thing is going to happen with Maggie and Negan and she’s going to get her son back and I feel like all three spinoffs are going to lead all back to the Commonwealth and there’s gonna be a big reunion. That would be the best way to do and it’s breaking bad somehow is in the same world and we find out that Walt’s math is what caused the outbreak, and somehow Jesse ends up part of the crew that be a little bonus

First time watching the official trailer for DeadCity and being blown away, then watching the official trailer for Daryl Dixon made me realise how The Walking Dead just make absolutely incredible trailers even if the show it’s self would be to not be that great. These trailers for me at least are just a masterpiece and I honestly can not wait to see how insane they make the Rick and Michonne spin-off trailer.

I love the scenery, cinematography and lighting used here. It fits and will probably add lots to the show. I also would have to say that he’s my personal fav character from TWD, same as most people. I actually like this trailer a lot. I mostly only followed TWD from seasons 1-7 but once I’ve watched the rest I’ll get straight to this. Looks good.
I don't know why he's people's favorite character. He literally has no character development. He's a tough guy with a soft heart, basically from the start till the end, nothing really happened with his character. My favorite is Carol, she goes from an abused housewife to a total badass and has some chaotic moments getting there. Rick is also great and Eugene.

He has had some development, not saying tons, not saying a lot, but as well as that I do really like Rick, and his character is way more complex and interesting, which I can easily admit. Shane, I liked him a lot, too. It’s more the badassery, skill, and heroism tropes I like when talking about Daryl. And the portrayal is good.

Daryl is one of my favorite characters. I started to develop a strong interest for this character during the second season of the TWD. I loved how he was devoted to finding Carol’s daughter when others gave up hope. This spin-off looks very interesting and reminds me of his deep devotion towards helping others. I will definitely be watching.
I liked him from the start. First because I've seen him in a few movies, and he was always great.Mostly thou, I liked him cause he wasn't even in the comic's, but when he tried out for Meryl's part ( which was taken) , They liked him so much they made him a part. Best thing the could have done

I live in Paris, last week I was taking an evening walk like I usually do especially in summer and I randomly felt on a massive set. I had already seen sets in Paris but they were tiny and had absolutely nothing special. Here, there were security guards everywhere, safety barriers, caravans, some sort of crane, huge spotlights, etc. The security wasn't allowed to tell anything but someone told me it was for TWD, then I knew... As a French, it's kind of weird to think that Norman Reedus was just a few meters away from me. 😅😆 Edit: I didn't precise that the set was at the Louvre, right next to the pyramids so that's what we'll certainly see in the next episodes. 😋
Something fears so different and it's not just the beautiful cinematography or setting, I feel like there's new writers with really creative ideas on board for these spinoffs.

@@niall9026 I'd say it does. There are splashes of hope in TWDU, such as the Commonwealth, PADRE and the CRM. The 'revival of humanity' could very well lead the next generation of humans to become the ones to lead our species to peace and possibly to outlast the walkers' decomposition.
I started watching the Walking Dead when I was twelve as it was first coming out...stopped watching after season five...thought I'd give it a quick google to reminisce. I had no idea that the show had gone on for eleven seasons let alone multiple spin off shows including this. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined Daryl getting his own TV show set in France, yet this feels like a dream come true.
Can’t wait for this! Definitely looking better than TWD had wound down to in the end. Getting back to basics and giving us actual content instead of just blood and gore!
I’m already loving this plot. I feel like taking care of and ig “delivering” this kid I think work as some sort of redemption arc for Daryl, and I know he’s not a bad guy that in our eyes doesn’t need a redemption arc, but in his mind he’s a terrible man who’s done terrible things, and he still blames himself deep down for the death of Glenn, and probably many others. I can’t wait to see how his character changes coming out of this show, whether it’s a large or slight change, I know it’ll be beautiful and perfect for him. Excited for this show.

I’ve heard from reliable sources that the main reason they ended the main show and decided to branch out the rest of the story into 3 spin offs, is because it would’ve allowed AMC to put out bigger budgets and deliver higher quality shows in regards to set locations. After seeing Dead City and Daryl Dixon, I can DEFINITELY see what they meant.
Just like Dead City: CINEMATOGRAPHY = 💯💯💯. From a quarry in Georgia to a castle in France - Daryl has come so far (literally) as a character. Can’t wait for September!
I love that despite Daryl being such a jerk in the first season of TWD, there are some quotes that only him could’ve said the way he did, and that’s one of the reasons it is such an amazing ark for his character. I remember him saying “Couldn’t you pick it up?” Referring to Merle’s handcuffs keys that T-Dog drops, and the scene is so tense, but the way he says it makes it comically impossible to recreate. Such a gem, Norman!
I am onto the episode 4 already and i can honestly say this is just a pure masterpiece of TWD saga continuation, the places, the make up, the scenes and budget plus the universality of the story are just mesmerizing, couldnt be better scripted than this. Not gonna lie this made me tear up. The emotion of it all is built beautifully by the obviously famous Clair de Lune piece which fits the vibe so perfectly. It works so much better than the trailers for the last few TWD seasons which would have felt off for this show. The lines they use that dub over are also so fitting; "Broken until the world ended", "Things that change you, you know". Ik it's just a trailer but Norman looks like he's gonna explore this character to another level. I admire his dedication to Daryl so much and I thank him that he continues to provide us with amazing shows like this. I can't wait.

i think what im excited about this is that the teaser is introducing a huge goal for the whole show. Like The Last of Us with delivering Ellie, Daryl will do the same. Compared to the og Walking Dead which was all about trying to survive then solving issues coming along the way. This one has a goal.

I think you’re right my theory is that’s why he went to France. I think he found Rick in the CRM was trying to take him and Darrell said take me let Rick go back with his family so now Darrell hast to do a mission for the CRM and then he gets to go back and the same thing is going to happen with Maggie and Negan and she’s going to get her son back and I feel like all three spinoffs are going to lead all back to the Commonwealth and there’s gonna be a big reunion. That would be the best way to do and it’s breaking bad somehow is in the same world and we find out that Walt’s math is what caused the outbreak, and somehow Jesse ends up part of the crew that be a little bonus

First time watching the official trailer for DeadCity and being blown away, then watching the official trailer for Daryl Dixon made me realise how The Walking Dead just make absolutely incredible trailers even if the show it’s self would be to not be that great. These trailers for me at least are just a masterpiece and I honestly can not wait to see how insane they make the Rick and Michonne spin-off trailer.

I love Dead City, it doesn’t feel exactly like The Walking Dead, but it has its own little vibe that fits it well. Plus, it’s Maggie and Negan, cmon.

I love the scenery, cinematography and lighting used here. It fits and will probably add lots to the show. I also would have to say that he’s my personal fav character from TWD, same as most people. I actually like this trailer a lot. I mostly only followed TWD from seasons 1-7 but once I’ve watched the rest I’ll get straight to this. Looks good.
I don't know why he's people's favorite character. He literally has no character development. He's a tough guy with a soft heart, basically from the start till the end, nothing really happened with his character.
My favorite is Carol, she goes from an abused housewife to a total badass and has some chaotic moments getting there. Rick is also great and Eugene.
@@taserrr I usually don’t like a character if their development is 100% nonexistent or if they’re just poorly written in some way or another but I’d say he is neither. He has had some development, not saying tons, not saying a lot, but as well as that I do really like Rick, and his character is way more complex and interesting, which I can easily admit. Shane, I liked him a lot, too. It’s more the badassery, skill, and heroism tropes I like when talking about Daryl. And the portrayal is good.
I like Daryl too but again, no idea how he's somebody's favorite character because he's so 1 dimensional without character development. It's great to have a character in the show like that, but it's still a bland character in the end.@@Xldldoom0

Daryl is one of my favorite characters. I started to develop a strong interest for this character during the second season of the TWD. I loved how he was devoted to finding Carol’s daughter when others gave up hope. This spin-off looks very interesting and reminds me of his deep devotion towards helping others. I will definitely be watching.

I live in Paris, last week I was taking an evening walk like I usually do especially in summer and I randomly felt on a massive set. I had already seen sets in Paris but they were tiny and had absolutely nothing special. Here, there were security guards everywhere, safety barriers, caravans, some sort of crane, huge spotlights, etc. The security wasn't allowed to tell anything but someone told me it was for TWD, then I knew... As a French, it's kind of weird to think that Norman Reedus was just a few meters away from me. 😅😆
Edit: I didn't precise that the set was at the Louvre, right next to the pyramids so that's what we'll certainly see in the next episodes. 😋
Something fears so different and it's not just the beautiful cinematography or setting, I feel like there's new writers with really creative ideas on board for these spinoffs.

@@niall9026 I'd say it does. There are splashes of hope in TWDU, such as the Commonwealth, PADRE and the CRM. The 'revival of humanity' could very well lead the next generation of humans to become the ones to lead our species to peace and possibly to outlast the walkers' decomposition.

I started watching the Walking Dead when I was twelve as it was first coming out...stopped watching after season five...thought I'd give it a quick google to reminisce. I had no idea that the show had gone on for eleven seasons let alone multiple spin off shows including this. Never in my wildest dreams could I have imagined Daryl getting his own TV show set in France, yet this feels like a dream come true.
This already looks to be the best out of all the spin offs. Looks amazingly promising.

I’m already loving this plot. I feel like taking care of and ig “delivering” this kid I think work as some sort of redemption arc for Daryl, and I know he’s not a bad guy that in our eyes doesn’t need a redemption arc, but in his mind he’s a terrible man who’s done terrible things, and he still blames himself deep down for the death of Glenn, and probably many others. I can’t wait to see how his character changes coming out of this show, whether it’s a large or slight change, I know it’ll be beautiful and perfect for him. Excited for this show.

I’ve heard from reliable sources that the main reason they ended the main show and decided to branch out the rest of the story into 3 spin offs, is because it would’ve allowed AMC to put out bigger budgets and deliver higher quality shows in regards to set locations.
After seeing Dead City and Daryl Dixon, I can DEFINITELY see what they meant.

I love that despite Daryl being such a jerk in the first season of TWD, there are some quotes that only him could’ve said the way he did, and that’s one of the reasons it is such an amazing ark for his character. I remember him saying “Couldn’t you pick it up?” Referring to Merle’s handcuffs keys that T-Dog drops, and the scene is so tense, but the way he says it makes it comically impossible to recreate. Such a gem, Norman!

Not gonna lie this made me tear up. The emotion of it all is built beautifully by the obviously famous Clair de Lune piece which fits the vibe so perfectly. It works so much better than the trailers for the last few TWD seasons which would have felt off for this show. The lines they use that dub over are also so fitting; "Broken until the world ended", "Things that change you, you know". Ik it's just a trailer but Norman looks like he's gonna explore this character to another level. I admire his dedication to Daryl so much and I thank him that he continues to provide us with amazing shows like this. I can't wait.

i think what im excited about this is that the teaser is introducing a huge goal for the whole show. Like The Last of Us with delivering Ellie, Daryl will do the same. Compared to the og Walking Dead which was all about trying to survive then solving issues coming along the way. This one has a goal.

TWDU have been absolutely killing it lately. I absolutely loved the first season of dead city and tbh I wasnt really that hyped about this spinoff. After watching the trailer however thats changed my mind. This also looks like its going to be really good. The cinematography looks incredible!
