+Brayden Fong I honestly think Glenn is too obvious of a pick to get the bat. The evidence videos online are fake, and here's how I can tell: The cast doesn't even know -- the evidence online depicts Glenn saying "Mag-" (I'm pretty sure that was added in via editing from another clip...it's not in the scene when I listen to it on the TV, computer, etc.). If this was legitimate, that means Steven Yeun and Lauren Cohan were both in on it -- nobody knows at this point in time aside from producers/writers. It's simply impossible to have happened when it is confirmed that the cast doesn't even know. Essentially every character has had a death different from their comic counterpart - Denise got Abraham's death, Lori died during the prison assault (as did Judith), and so on. I think Glenn is safe. However, I do believe that one of the people on the ends of the line got the bat, as the RV is not visible in the background. I also think it is a possibility that Negan did not kill anyone, as he stated he didn't want to a couple of times, but that he would "beat the holy hell out of one of them" - it is possible that someone's just receiving the beating of a lifetime with non-fatal blows (it's suggested that they are taking it to the head by the camera angle, but it could be back/shoulders). Well, that's just my opinion. I am hoping Glenn's safe, but as we well know, no one is truly safe, and I won't discount the concept that he could get the bat -- I just know the evidence presented is faked. What are your thoughts? - TWDT
TheWalkingDeadTributes If I accept that it's Glenn (because he's my favourite character of all time and favourite actor) and it turns out he lives I'll be happy. I do genuinely believe it's him for two reasons: 1) It is the MOST significant death in the comics 2) He is the most genuine, and has the most to lose. However I believe Daryl should get the bat, as he killed most of Negan's men and is the fan favourite (i.e. comic Glenn). However he is the AMC cash cow. I think most likely, in order for me is: 1) Glenn 2) Abraham 3) Daryl 4) Michonne 5) Eugene (unlikely, not popular enough)
Brayden Fong All good points. There have been rumors of Norman Reedus leaving the show (I'm not sure if there is any truth behind these rumors), plus he's got his new series, Ride with Norman Reedus, on AMC. We'll see. I'm pretty sure Carl, Rick, and Aaron are safe.
