They're exactly like their characters. Matt is somehow like Alec: young yet mature and uptight. Harry who is a lot older than Matt is much like Magnus: seasoned actor yet beneath that fun dancer vibe is a really really smart and wise man. Even the way Matt asked Harry if the words he used were grammatically correct and Harry, still keeping a fun take on things, acknowledges them-- just shows how much they fit the characters' roles and age gaps.

It sucks that they didn't get the movie rolls but since the movie didn't do that well it's also a good thing I think. This way we may have these characters for a lot longer to see and enjoy and remember a lot more.

In the beginning of the books , or more so the first few books , Alec is just rejecting of who he is and keeps it all in but he blossoms into this person who is so open minded and it’s great. && Harry touching on Magnus who is very snarky made me happy too , because he is very very sassy in the books.

Harry is more experienced, and I think he kind of tried to make it comfortable to everyone, and get the conversation going. I noticed it with the whole cast as well. When nobody knows what to say immediately, it's usually Harry who speak, so there isn't silence. It changed now, since the whole cast is so carefree and they are practically shouting over eachother nowadays lol
