That’s what I always called it also. Then someone asked me what an oil can was? Guess it was time for an update. I honestly don’t even know if you can buy coffee in a can anymore.
Thanks Bernie! Yea these big flat pieces are not always easy to keep that way. Tig welding can help, because you can control the heat a little better. Really though the only good way is Patience! - let the metal cool between welding very small areas at a time. Will you be back at SEMA this year?

It’s shocking how much these panels can move around with fairly mild pressure or heat.
Coffee canning must be new school us old timers called it oil canning .
