To be honest I've never seen people less enthusiastic in England over a tournament. Only about 4 flags I've seen in my town all summer. And it's coming home didn't get a shout out big time until they beat Holland. But they did sing it and that's when the footballing Gods went "not this lot again".
If you don't play well u have to win. England barely played well all tournament, got some luck along the way and got outclassed in the final. Spain could of scored 4 or 5. England had the easiest draw possible and still struggled . Time for a new manager who will change the style to focus on playing good quality football.
