THEY PLAYED YEARS AGO I CANT FUCKING BELIEVE IT. Not gonna lie, this is one of the best bm shows, it also makes me miss matt a lot. Anyway, I fucking love this band dude, thank you for filming all the four shows. (Also you misspelled reggae lol)
Does anyone know how Matt's doing and/or what he's up to? Years Ago is one of my favorites, I wanted to see more from him. I understand that it's some kind of health issue, so I don't mean to pry. Really just hope he's OK.
Thanks a lot for the magnificent upload once again! It's wonderful to hear all these classics live again - that moment where Cam and Geordie synched 7-eleven with Crow's Perch is the stuff of dreams...
Out of curiosity, how do you record these? From what I've heard, bootlegging is kind of a covert affair but you seem to have a pretty decent set-up here (being able to record the whole show with a decent-quality camera + seemingly using something separate to record audio). How do you manage it (and what equipment do you use?).
The stuff didn’t take my camera so I think they allow us to record. Also my equipments are very small & not so professional, more like amateur. I use olympus em-10 ii & sony pcm a-10.
@@roustghoti I went to the Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. I saw you recording stood on the steps. Thanks a lot for doing it. This was my favourite night.
@@roustghoti Interesting, thanks for answering my q's! Few more though: did you bring/use a tripod (or any type of support, really - like leaning against something or etc) for the shows? Also, would you have any advice for someone bootlegging for the first time? I'm considering recording something like this for one of their upcoming shows. Thanks again!
@@_fesh No I don’t use any tripods, my camera is light so I only use my arms. As for advice…The first bootleg always sounds terrible, so if you want to record an important show, try to record some others beforehand to find the best dictaphone settings. Maybe also stand in different places to test how close to the stage is the best distance to record.
I know he used to use rainbow machine but that sounds a little different. Either rainbow machine with a different pedal or a different pedal altogether
@@dooshbag612 I have a rainbow machine and it’s not that, this seems more of a direct pitch shift, rainbow machines are slightly unpredictable and modulate more
@@maxmusic2198pretty sure it’s some kind of flanger pedal but with a suuuuperrrr slow rate so it’s kind of unrecognisable as a flanger- not sure of the exact pedal Geordie uses tho

Shank on the bass at cavalcade
shank on the slide whistle too
The last show I went to the machine did everything
"non of you fuckers can do it better than me" *proceeds to play the most ridiculous song in the world*
Where does he say that?
Seriously, what can't Shank do? Absolutely shredding on Ducter.
Two guitar black midi 🥵
It gives me some good nostalgia
Petition to have HMLTD only tour w/ black midi from now on, to guarantee we never lose Shanks
Holy shit I had no idea Shank was in HMLTD
6:07 so it's basically 359 in this performance if u get what I mean
Lol they even used the Schlagenheim era intro!
