Malabar spinach really easy to grow. I bought from shop then straight away planted it. Now it's non stop giving me spinach. It will produce seeds then if u grow using seeds it's produce better product of Malabar spinach
Do you plant them in direct sun? Does malabar require lots of sun or partly shade?
I’m trying to grow it and it’s very hot here now, but I see some leaves coming but I’m not sure if I should change the pots from sun to shade. I would appreciate if you kindly reply.

Yung top ng lupa ay egg shell. Kahit anong potting soil puede. Ang fertilizer nya yata ay cow manure, according sa isang comment. Nagtatanim din ako nyan dito sa US. Madaling itanim pag summer.

Vì sao mình ngâm thường cây bị úng cành. Chết v ạ. Mình có trùm bao nilon để giữ ẩm. Thay nước 2 ngày 1 lần. Để ở nơi mát mẻ
E nghĩ k cần trùm bao đâu ạ vì ngâm đủ nc cho cây rồi.😂

What happens after we cut the leaves out to cook? Does the vine grow new leaves in the same place or that part will have no leaves forever?
When we cut the big leaves and the young tips to cook, new shoots will show up to give more stems and then flowers... from which we can collect the seeds to grow again.

What’s the benefit of having egg shells as top layer? I know it add some calcium etc but if there a specific reason for adding as top layer ? Moist control ? Also where in earth you get this much egg shell!!??
We have yard birds and 6 kids. I can get that easily. However, my friend with just her and her husband collect washed eggs shells from their neighbors before and during some of garden season. Which maybe you can. I don’t know if they are using the egg shells as a mulch, or fertilizer. It’s interesting what they are doing.

Hello. Can you share the temperature/humidity and the times/seasons you are growing. Also the pot mix you are using? Please??
Malabar spinach comes from places that have no seasons 😀 so to speak. No spring, autumn, winter. It is always hot and humid like Kerala in southern part of India ( hence the name Malabar which is a region in Kerala). Also in South East Asia such as Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam etc. where it is always warm and humid with plenty of rain. If you are in other parts of the world, you can grow them in summer months. Unlike palak or spinach this loves hot weather. This will not grow in cool or cold weather.
