that was some fantastically entertaining squash. Great show from Farkas, at other times he's looked somewhat like he lacked intensity, but he was going full throttle this entire match. Wonderful to see
I watched the full match. Dessouky needs a mental coach ASAP. Each time he goes on court, he acts like all the referees are ruling against him unfairly. He simply can't let go, and that is his own downfall.
It would feel wrong for me to crap on Dessouky on the basis of these incredible highlights. Astounding shots and gets from both, a match they won't easily forget I don't think: one of those you can tell both had to hold their 180 bpm hearts up for judgement to the squash gods. Exhausting. Farkas was simply the superior on the day. Well played to both.
Balázs is his first name, and Farkas is his family name. But anyway, finally he played very well, and fought hard. Good skills in short and forward play.
Dessouky genuinely had the potential to be world number one. Technically so good and his athletic ability is phenomenal. But the mentality is so weak. He shouldn’t be in a five setter let alone be losing the match against Balasz. Unfortunately his time has come and gone and he won’t ever realise his full potential.
It was true, we watched it happen live. The skill gap is significant. Dessouky basically hit at least a full game worth of tins off of easy shots. But Dessouky had too many arguments with the ref. He really stitched himself up unnecessarily there. It shouldn't even be that close of a fight if this was based on pure skill only. Atlas, mental strength is critically important.
It is such a shame that these young men did not shake hands at the end.. very sad indeed and reflects poorly both on them and the state of non-English squash

Dynamic action, both playing the ball in tight situations, good stuff, well played Farkas.
Wonderful play from both players. Congratulations guys.
his surname is Farkas.
great win : )

Top class squash, great match

Well played to both.
The worst enemy of Dessouki is himself. He has a lot of talent, but also a depressive attitude.
Well said. His aggressive attitude gets him down
And the puzzling thing is, a few years back he seemed to be on the right path to get rid of those demons but then that suddenly all went away.
Yes remember, he was crying againts Ashour, idk what year you can find in youtube👍
@tyanmutter1437 I remember that.
A 5-game Balazs Dessouky match is the content we need 🤩
Fabulous from both.....thanks for an amazing show.
Bravo Balázs!!!
Fantastic..real tenacity!!! Bravo!!!
Well done Balazs, impressive anomaly from Hungary.

so many skills ,fantastic
Great match!
Almost Fares playing Dessouky 😂

Fantastic!
I have heard that this guy smokes a cigarette or two before each match he plays!
Really😂
That is definitely not true haha
Hungarians invert the order of first name and last name. Probably why PSA has him the wrong way around and displays him as Balazs
So do East Asians and Finns, it depends on your perspective on who's "inverting".
Damn Dessouke's mind is weak
25 people watching. Squash i hope you survive
😂
Pathetic display of attitude by dessouky.

Are you sure they didn't? Just looked like an early cut on the video.
He did it
Are you sure of your facts? Dessouky was holding the door open at the end. Did you actually see them not shaking hands?
Ah yes, England, the only country with classy players like George Parker
@@adissad yeah. As an English person the non-English in the original post is completely unwarranted.
