Like most bands... The Shy began in high school with with likeminded pals. John Hagle, Ken York, Mike Sackey, and Larry Decker formed Cammorist... Don't ask me where that name came from or what it means... I met John in 7th grade... He and I were in the same place... we both loved the guitar and The Beatles, but didn't know how to play. He became my John Lennon and I became his Paul McCartney... we learned together. We probably saved each others lives... John wrote this song when he was 15... At that age John was writing better songs than any of us musicians in the neighborhood... why we as The Shy never recorded it I don't know. One night 25 years later on a lonely night in my basement I recorded it myself on my Tascam 8 track...
