- even in December we are still getting some days of warm weather. it was 5°C and I was able to take my dog Milo flying with me. we like to go to grass strips where he can get out and walk around.
first we got the plane ready to go. our destination was a gliding club strip just east of Ottawa that is very quiet in the winter. when we arrived we were greated by a friendly pilot and then we went for a nice sunset walk. we departed before dark and headed back home.
aircraft is a 1948 stinson 108-3 with a Franklin 165
Nice video and that puts a whole new meaning to preflight check in cold weather 🤔🇳🇿

@@flyingeden Found you. Been to a lot of places in Canada, but was not familiar with Cornwall. Looks like you're off the beaten path a little bit. I see some hangars on the airport--be nice to get your Stinson in one.
Unfortunately they're all full. One just went up for sale but I can't afford it 😅 hopefully one day!
