Ahaha, yeah doesn't make much sense!
I worked out how to use a Ziggy . you are so close , First you undo the plastic catch tray on the bottom 2 to 3 turns, so the lid just touches it. This lets air in the bottom. now close lid and heat up on max temp until temp gauge goes to the red ( about 20 min). start your stop watch on your phone, quickly lift lid, put steaks on and close lid, 1 min later flip steaks over and close lid, 1 min later flip steaks over again but turn 90 deg and close lid, 1 min later flip steaks over and close lid, 1 min later take off and rest for 3 min.
You are at the Ziggy for 4 min total plus flipping time. It works as i do that all the time with those size steaks. I hope this helps.

Seriously Sophie is the most chilled dog I have ever seen travelling in a car. Just after the video started you were filming as you drove and she was in the back seat rolling around to find the comfy spot and I swear she was instantly snoring.😂
Question for you. I have been thinking of upgrading our Ford Ranger to a Landcruiser twin cab ute to tow our 3.2t van. 2 people have told me they did that and it almost ended in divorce. The wife in each case cracked it because of the more truck like feel and less comfort. How does Sue find it? Very interested to know. Keep up the good work

In regards to the Ute . It’s a regular question and debate. I’ll give my honest opinion:
The ford was more comfortable and handled our last van better . The thing with the 79 cruiser is it was not built to tow caravans on long roads . It’s basically a farm truck . With the 79 cruiser , you have to spend money on the suspension and mods to get the way you want it . It will definitely need a gvm upgrade . That does not get you bigger tow capacity unless you get the extension done and coil conversion which will put the Ute up at around $180k . Now for that kind of money you have heaps of other options . I will agree , the cruiser will hold more value than other utes . That’s my opinion but who knows for how much longer .
We have done some seriously long consecutive days in the cruiser and we had no issues. Sue does have osteoarthritis and she was fine . Now you can spend some more money and change the seats to something more comfortable if you want but that can vary in price massively.
If you don’t need the canopy space , I would say a 200 is better . The 79 is heavier on fuel as well . Some days we will only get 400 kms to a tank . We did not buy the Ute for luxury, but to be sold and reliable and hold its value .

@@justvanningit I do 2 spoons olive oil, 1 spoon balsamic and crack the pepper into it and sit steaks in for around an hour. Depending on how many you are marinating just adjust amounts.
