Vw tiguain is an underestimated awd (4motion) car.
Good bootspace, interiors.. good power 2L turbo and comes with DCT.
Unless you need a large car, for a decent 4x4 its a good option.

I think vikas got carried away when he booked the XUV. The top end manual would have been as capable and mileage is much better.

Just a suggestion ....Fortuner is a very reliable tried/tested vehicle from toyota which is totally stable....keep it as stock as possible.
My friend had run it for more than 2 Lakh kms ...still he says he hasn't spend a single penny on engine.

Great car, but will it not cause problems in the narrow roads in the hills ? How is the power / weight ratio. Does not look nimble enough for off-roading. So I guess for most of the interesting road trips will be done using the Thar !

There were few more cars whose build quality and reliability is better than what you have got. For example you could try Škoda Kodiq or Volvo XC 40. Actually Fortuner feels like a thug car.
