Love old fluorescent lights, becoming rarer to see them out and about now!

Absolutely amazing. I really hope it doesn't all go to waste. I love those multicoloured LCD monitors.

The pink fluorescent lights are due to the glow discharge of the argon happening due to no UV radiation from the mercury, so the phospor isn't getting excited.

0:37 £80,000 in 1903 is equivalent to £7.994 million today.

No proper fire doors and those open stairwells don't comply with fire regs I'm pretty sure.
Plus there would be no insulation in the place so it would have cost a fortune to heat during winter. And it would be filled with asbestos.
Cheaper to knock it down than modernise it.

4:48 That is s really shoddy bulkhead. A real piece of work.
Even the equivalent thing Thames Water used to dish out to do the same with your toilet cistern was more elegant. And that was called the Whale which you had to blow up like a balloon.

I've seen 2013 and 2016 on the internet, but judging by Google Street View it closed between May 2014 - May 2015

Have you thought about having an URBEX at the half sunken Miller and Carter Restaurant at Lakseide, Thurrock?

A little research gave me this answer in two minutes so it's your turn next time. Because if daddy always does it, you won't have the chance to learn how to do it yourself.
The Outpatient department of The Royal London hospital was opened by the King and Queen in June 1903.
The new building took up a whole acre just east of the City of London.

@@JP_TaVeryMuch Allready knew that 👍but he is right, you have to learn to find these places yourself.
