Yeah I can see that. Both West Coast (both Oakland, I think) so that makes sense. I just really dig how he actually raps with a flow, instead of basically just talking. People like Flex, B Magic and K Shine sound so much better because of the way they deliver.

This first battle in awhile that I actually enjoyed Chilla, it mightve been the crowd and how laid back the west and made chilla seem more relaxed. And Madflex came with it as usual, the cat is too nice with the pen. Got Flex taking it still. Good battle.

he said that blade'll go through right between intestine and lung, basically he'll stab him in the gut and that's pretty much a kill shot. The best part of that whole scheme was the scar comparison bar right after.
hope they rematch some day - this could've been much better on a bigger stage with longer rounds and more prep time. Still a nice little exhibition match. But a bit underwhelming since they both are two of the best writers in battle rap

the only problem I had with Madflex was the half choke in the 3rd. Because of that I gave the 3rd to Chilla. 2-1 Madflex though. Madflex's lines were better and his punches landed harder and cleaner.
Probably Chilla 2-1, but good stuff from both of them. Both writer battlers, if that makes sense.

Seemed more like a pause than a choke. Even if he forgot some of his writtens it didn't matter since he dropped those Fire freestyles. Which to me a lot of times is more impressive/entertaining than writtens.
Chilla recycled a lot. I heard a lot of those bars before. Madflex already used half those flex flips Chilla used in this battle. Off creativity and originality alone I gotta give it to Madflex.
