@@averagejoe6971 Yes, everything is so connected that she should have actually started her comment : "Lying on the ground with friends looking like circus clowns, somewhere far away in the mountains,...", immediately causing enough tension into every thought and once connected emotion, rendering the whole, emotional, connected house of cards into a flattened mess of random cards (with the fucking circus clown left doing its usual, stupid circus numbers on top).

Odesza is so magical. I saw them in concert a few days ago and I was a MESS, literrally crying the whole time because their songs wake up in me so many genuine feelings that I can't describe. I mean how do they do it? When listening to their music the world doesn't exist anymore and I can just enjoy. On saturday night I could feel this thing deep in my guts transporting me to a state of pure joy. This song in particular always gives me goosebumps. Thank you, Odesza.

A few weeks ago my friend, 17, lost his battle to cancer. This song reminds me of him. Both him and the song remind me to not get caught up in the speed of life, and appreciate in the natural beauty around us. I have many memories with him but one day stands out, it was a day filled to the brim with fun times, most with him, and I listened to this song a lot that day-and discovered this song a few days before. This song has some kind of nostalgic, beautiful ring to it that makes me save this song for those special days. It makes me want to stop what I’m doing and just focus on how the music makes you feel. A quick message to those who love this song - if the vocals are a big part of why you like it so much, you should check out the band Made in Heights. They sadly disbanded in 2015 but it's some good stuff and Kelsey Bulkin was the vocalist. It's electronic music as well.
Knew I recognized her name. Did Made in Heights officially disband?
They never made an official post about it but she did an interview when releasing her first single from her upcoming solo effort where she talks a little bit about dealing with the fallout from their split, so I'd say yes it's pretty official. I can try to link it here but I dunno if youtube will filter that or not.

Here are to the discoveries you make at nearly 4am in the morning on the internet. Not sure how I haven't heard this one. People should check out Madonna's lesser known songs too.
I imagine teenagers doing burnouts in an old car in an abandoned parking lot on a cloudless summer evening. The epitome of carefree, and it makes me feel so much about this song. Side note: the kind of triangle ringing in the background from :20 to :40 reminds me of b/g music from Kirby 64 water levels and it's also super nostalgic.
