Gentlemen, I must applaud you on the conversation you’ve had on the western music prescribed for the eisteddfod TMF eisteddfod!! You were detailed, but simplistic in your inputs!! I trust that your conversation & its intent will be clearly understand by all the adjudicators who’ll be deployed to the regional & national events!! Please consider such a conversation in your analyses of our African compositions!! Most of us are leading in a variety of ways in the decoloniality debates!! Let’s also use the critical essence of African language imperatives found in our African compositions. In the past, we’ve heard lots of “things” some of which are worrying!! We must consciously engage in such debates, discomforting & uncomfortable as these debates may be!! But I must applaud for your teachings; your experiences & knowledge of the opera operetta space, was made easy to understand & follow!! Thank you!!
