When you learn the little boy say "Dank je wel!!!" after you give him some food, you have your own "Holle Bolle Gijs" at home!!! 🤣🤣🤣 Make sure you don't like it too much, so that he starts to look like Gijs. 😇

If you want to follow the official Fairytale Forest Route, you can follow the official walk where you walk past all the fairytales. Almost every fairy tale is announced on a wooden signpost in the run-up to it, and the walking path consists mainly of red bricks 35:32 Those who know their way around better and are looking for a specific fairy tale can also use one of the many shortcuts, which can be recognized by the paths with yellow bricks 8:22
@@TheDandylion5Efteling has a total of 31 fairytales, starting with Sleeping Beauty and ending with the Chinese Nightingale. If you follow the official route, you can walk through the Fairytale Forest quite quickly and still see most of it. From the spring of 2025, the Fairytale Forest will have 32 fairytales and the fairytale of The Princess and the Pea will be added, 11:30 which will be combined with the Efteling Grand Hotel and has a special entrance to the fairytale forest.
What a cool place, great video, you've done several really good vlogs from etfaling haven't you? You guys must like it there lol thanks for uploading, keep up the great work as always
Red squirrels (indigenous to Europe) are slowly "pushed" out by the grey squirrels (indigenous to Asia). Particularly in England, I remember seeing tons of grey ones but no reds. (While on holiday). Reds are still around in NL in enough numbers to be seen at times.
100% The grey squirrel and is not native to Europe, it's an invasive species. The native squirrel is the red squirrel, who is much more shy. Unfortunately, the grey squirrel is spreading through Europe, but hasn't settled in the Netherlands yet, as far as I know.
You entered the forest through the wrong entrance. The official entrance is at the Steamcarrousel and starts at sleeping beauty. You also took quite a lot of the sidepaths that divert from the main path and thus make you skip fairy tales.

@Lawrencevbeek yeah well if it's not open by April it just gives us another excuse to come back again in summer 😉😆😆

@QDude24 yeah we entered through that way on our first visit in August but never have enough time to fully explore the whole area unfortunately 😕
