Hey Blue Did you seen the original concept and original version of Fantasia 2000 (the working title was called “Fantasia II and Fantasia Continued”) One deleted and cancelled sequence about The Emperor and the Nightingale. Based on the story The Nightingale by Hans Christian Andersen, this sequence was to feature Mickey Mouse as a servant of the Emperor of China 🇨🇳, As in the source story, the Emperor hears of a Nightingale with a beautiful voice and asks to hear its song. Mickey would then befriend the Nightingale and convince him to sing for the Emperor. The Emperor would then keep the Nightingale in his palace and make him sing upon request, only for him to be forgotten when the Emperor is presented with a bejewelled, mechanical Nightingale which also sings. The Nightingale goes into self-imposed exile after this, and Mickey continues to befriend him. and the original and scrapped version of Pomp and Circumstance, Before the Noah's Ark storyline was chosen, Eisner and the executives wanted the sequence to feature as many Disney characters as possible and was centered on a procession of the Disney Princesses, accompanied by their Princes and children, from Snow White up to Princess Jasmine. Numerous Disney characters in the audience could be seen watching this parade, but a certain set of characters were not invited: the Disney Villains, who proceeded to crash the party. Donald Duck was present in this story and tried to send the villains back by using the Sorcerer's Hat, though his efforts to retrieve it provided several comedic gags. Eisner had hoped to invite many of the surviving members of the Nine Old Men to come back to animate their characters, but upon a screening of the story reel, they immediately rejected the proposal and called the sequence one of the most terrible things they had ever seen. Another variation, based on the previous version, was leaked online. This version was a procession where the Disney Princesses and their Princes were being bequeathed children by storks. The other Disney characters were still featured, with Donald now trying to deliver a pillow with tiny crowns on it to give to the newborns. (Ariel and Eric's daughter, Melody, would eventually officially debut in The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea, released several months after Fantasia 2000.) Which is was in the early workprint backed in 1992. The characters were shown are Goofy, Clarabelle, Horace, Pluto, Sultan, Wendy, Micheal, John, Peter Pan, Bambi, Thumper, Tic-Toc, Pinocchio, Jiminy Cricket, Jaq & Gus and The Seven Dwarfs.
I did see it, great to see it made it’s way to Social Media, (most notably UA-cam) I’ve also seen Footage of the Cancelled Chicken Little Sequel and TV Show.
Man, this movie blows. This has got to be the worst of the Disney live action remakes. Between this and Beauty and the Beast, I have to say this is worst. While Beauty and the Beast is awful, they attempted to try a couple new things, they didn’t explore anything with them, but they at least try. Lion King is just a shot for shot remake, but with none of the passion, energy, or fun of the original. I hope the Mufasa movie is at least a TINY better than this film, because at they actually so more emotion than the first Lion King remake, where they were just deadpan the whole time. Even the Hans Zimmer score was toned down, and somehow slower. Be Prepared was so infuriating for how short it was and making the actor talk for most of the song and didn’t sing until the end, even though he sounds like he could sing. And while I love James Earl Jones, he sounds so tired. Mainly because he was in his late 80s and also having to say the same things he said in the original, so it just sounds phoned in. Like “really? I said this already 30 years ago, you want me to say it again?” I will say the only ones I like are Timon and Pumbaa, they do get a laugh, but that’s it. There are so many stuff that’s so wrong with this film, but I don’t want this rant to go on too long. Anyways, I hope you’re having a great day and hope you’re ready for this holiday season! Take care
Well it’s Your Opinion on the Film and for Me I understand and I even explained that It can not beat the Original etc. And Thanks, You too, Happy Holidays.
Nice Movie Review & Hey Little Blue are seeing Mufassa: The Lion King 2024
