No 269. It's Time we had a Chat (Channel Update - Apr24)!

We've produced very little content in 2024 so far and therefore I thought it was time to sit down and let you all know where my head is, with regards this UA-cam Channel.
I have admit - I've felt like giving up on it, and who knows if this will be the case at the end of this year (2024) but with two big trips coming up - It's time to let know what's happen for at least the rest of this year.

Thanks for the update! I stumbled across your UA-cam channel a couple years ago while I was watching Sandals videos of Jamaica. We have been vacationing in Jamaica for the past 18 years & thought you did an excellent job covering the properties. We subscribed immediately and have been following since. You do an outstanding job covering all the Sandals’s locations & provided us great information on each. I especially enjoyed your NY trip with your friends Donna & Michael. Again, excellent info!! I’m excited for hear your plans for 2024 to San Fran and St Lucia Safe. SF holds a special place in my heart… and anything with Sandals & the Caribbean will be fantastic.

Christy thanks so much for your lovely message, really, really appreciated. I've not been to San Francisco since 2000, so 24 years this summer. I used to spend a lot of time there back in the early 90's. However, I hear it's not the city it once was. My colleagues in this business have strongly recommended we don't go there in 2024, and even my travel agent who is a very close friend suggested avoiding SFO so we've booked a nice hotel near Fisherman's Wharf and we've cuit the stay in half, choosing instead to book a train to Sacramento and head into the mountains' to celebrate the 4th with friends who live in a gated community on a gorgeous lake. We're also so looking forward to going back to St. Lucia but this time staying at Michael & Donna's favorite resort: The Halcyon Beach. They booked a package with BA Holidays and then Facetimed me to see if we could get flights. A quick search on BA Avios and I managed to pick up two Club World seats for next to nothing. Due to booking the seats using miles, we've had no option but to stay an extra night because the flight Michael & Donna are booked back on had no miles availability. Hey-Hoe, Fiona and I can cope😁 Right, I will start to pull together B-Roll for our "Big Pacific Adventure," and get something out before we go. Thanks again for you nice comments. Regards Graeme
