Nice brother. I need a better system for connection for guitar to PC. I have cubase and moxf6 with built in interface but I need a simple solution. Lol then learn to navigate daw. I know alot about PC and etc. Android etc. But I'm fearing the transition of hardware old school music recording to software which is nowadays a must have. Lol.

So before and after Obsidian module swap, but you also changed pickups for the after? How will that give an accurate sample?

As I clearly said in the video the single coil swap was not a choice... The old pick up had chunks of solder in the cover that cut the copper... It was a choice between new single coil or no pick up.

Did you install the Obsidian kit that is specifically designed for HSS Strats (with the superswitch and treble bleed)? Considering this but not sure whether I want the HB to be wired for a 500k.

In the instlal vid he mentions it's the HSS kit. If you have a HB in the bridge, or a stacked single (technically also a HB) you will want it to be on a 500k pot, but things get a little more complicated because if you have single coil neck and middle, they need to be 250k, and this kit addresses that.

Great video but can't really hear the difference on bridge but single coils sounded more trebley and less muddy.

Too confusing to watch all the way through. Keep it simple with the sounds and effects

Did it help at all with noise from the single coils, like when you are too close to the computer monitor, etc? I have pretty good electronics and quality single coils but they are super noisy with any amount of gain.
