I LOVE this snowman!! We're in Alabama, and we have snow every seven years for one day and NEVER on Christmas, so a melted snowman is perfect!! Thanks so much for sharing! Your tutorial is inspiring all these years later!
Thank GOD we Have Ben Franklin's in Hawaii. That is the only Craft shop that we have here. XD Love your tutorial. Saw this last year in the Store but forgot about it until I was looking around for D.I.Y. crafts to make for Christmas. Glad you were able to make another one after all your hard work. I have most of those supplies already as I wanted to make them last year. I only need the glass Ball. Hope that they still have them.
Thank You❣️ I made one a few years ago right on the snow flake❄️ I didn't think of a hat tho and I used pipe cleaner pieces for the carrot nose and black eyes❣️ What A fun one to make.. I love your idea❤️😇
Oh I also used light blue glass beads and decorated each end of the snow flake. If I could find it I would get pics of it again. Everyone loved it tho.. Is weird I see melted snowmen now!? I did that idea years ago at a daycare I worked at with the other teachers😍🙏 Ok.. Take Care TY
aww Beth this is so cute,I am hoping I can find the open baubles here in the UK,I am pretty sure I can find the glass pebbles,I would like to have a go at making one of these little fellas. Thanks again for another great tutorial,.
Tyfs! Here's a thought: for the arms you could snip off a couple of broom bristles and shape the ends. This way you don't need to buy extra stuff. If the bristles are dirty you can clean them like this: Pour 3-4 cups of water in a 2qt sauce pan ad bring to a rolling boil. Add 3 TBS of baking soda to the water 1 TBS at a time and add the bristles. (adding to much baking soda at one time will cause your pan to boil over!) Let it boil for about 5-10 minutes or until they are clean. use tongs to pick them out of the water and lay them out on paper towel to completely dry. Use when ready.
wow just read descrip about it breaking! what a coincidence i left my busted laptop comment here. cooool decoration! but sad about poor melted frosty :(
all the items I used were from Ben Franklin and I put their names and codes in the description box. Perhaps a google search for it? Open Glass Ornament - #30109005
