Love Revivo! Love reusing! I got these in a discontinued hemp style a while back. Same sole as these! They are my daily walkers. Run with them on road, trail, etc. great shoe! And a great way to buy shoes! Thanks for making this video.

Yet another really cool and informative video, Andrew! These were the second pair of barefoot footwear I bought after the Xero Genesis sandals (they were actually the Gobi II). They also sit on the toop of the tree as my GOAT pair of footwear, just for the sheer comfort, versatility and longevity of them. I've had mine for 4 years and as they are getting a bit shiny on the sole, I'll be sending them back to Revivo to be given a new lease of life. Also, I came across a relatively new sandal company here in the UK called Wildsole that might be worth a look. I can't see any mention of them anywhere else on UA-cam? Keep it lit, Andrew, and thanks for the great content 🙂
Great to hear the Gobi's held up so well! Wildsole look rad, I hadn't heard of them, but I just emailed them to see if they'll send me a pair of Har's to test, which have a 4mm Vibram sole. Thanks for the recommend!

Damn near all my shoes are barefoot style now, 10 years on since trying them. Gobi is still my favorite overall. (I have a few pairs of them now)
I have a friend who does everything in the Gobi, from trail running to casual. It's a tank of a shoe!
@@AndrewFolts Nice... I could see that easily. They're my every day cooler month shoe but I wore them a week or two ago when we went out for a couple miles on road and said to my partner "you know these aren't taht different from the primus really"... I kinda forget how great the Gobis are during the summer. :D

I think they were "Great," since that's what I asked for, but I'm not 100% sure, because there's no marking on the box. It's only the Good ones that have significant defects, I expect.
Bought this boot! Got scared for a minute! My gobi III were hard as rocks, you could knock them like they were a door, after two days the leather got softer by the use and it now feels like a shoe that is molded specificaly to my feet, never had anything leather and I'm wondering if this is the gobi experience or leather. Oh well, just adding this comment so people who buy a new store pair don't get suprised.
Had the same experience, at first I though OH NO they're too stiff, but they loosened up really quickly. Most thicker leather works like that. Adding some beeswax can help soften it up too. My friend Andrew's been wearing his Gobi's for like 5+ years and even running in them, ha. They were super soft.
Hey I just got my first barefoot shoes in the mail today. I ended up going for the vivo barefoot primus trail fg and so far so good. I am so happy with my purchase and thank you for all your videos. You are one of my top inspirations for going barefoot. Also, how many pairs of shoes do you own now hehe

I wore the vivos today all shift (12 hours standing and moving patients and stuff). I know you're supposed to slowly transition but I went all in 🤣. My feet are less sore than I thought they would be but it felt nice... and definitely different lol. I'm barefoot at home all day when I'm not working anyways so maybe that's why it was easier for me. But I definitely had to use a massage roller after work 😆. I thought it would be impossible to wear in the hospital; I couldn't find any videos on nurses wearing them, but it works 😁

Random size question for the Gobi - in all my "normal" running shoes I've ever worn I've done a size 11 no problem. That was too large in the primus lite knit so I tried a 10 and they're good but I hear those run big? Basically trying to figure out if I should order the gobi in a size 10 like the primus knit or go with 11 like all my other running shoes. Thanks for any input! (Disclaimer that I don't hold you responsible at all if I don't get the size right the first time lol)
Yea, sizing can be a pain! The Knit's did seem ro run longer than the Gobi's, which were pretty true to size for me.
What do you think about these for hot weather? About 27 Celsius and 70%+ humidity all year around.
Obviously, mesh is the most breathable for summer, but the Gobi is quite thin and technically a desert boot, so they're a good option if you want a leather shoe. Vivo's new Sensus shoe looks even better, though, if you're ok with lower cut, because the leather is perforated. bit.ly/43ARX27

Seemed to fit true, maybe a bit long. I wear a 10-10.5 usually and the 10 fit perfectly.

Didn't say on the box, but I'd guess "Great" or "Excellent."
here in the uk revivo's are always out of stock and no significant price difference
Weird, everything is 25-50% discounted here in the US, although, yea, stock is not going to be consistent like it is in a regular store, since things are refurbished.
Wait, do they also refurbish outsoles? How does that work?

@Andrew Folts first time wearing them and they are more comfortable than I expected. I put a pair of my old trainers on straight after wearing the barefoots and I can't believe how much angle the heel is compared!

It's funny, I thought the same thing the first pair I got. Then after about a month regular shoes looked weird and I was like...ugh, why would anyone want a pointy toebox, ha?
