Bro, they made things so much prettier back in the day. That Windsor med is incredible!!! Great finds but y'all letting the kids hop in and dig was the best part of the whole thing. Now the kids will have an amazing story to tell.
Never thought I would enjoy watching someone dig up a poop pit 😂😂😂 Cool stuff! I have a 1810s two story brick mansion I’m restoring and we have found bottles and artifacts all over the property. I have 2 cisterns to dig out, and who knows how many privies
I'll check my sources but I agree that in all my many years I have never seen an ink that measures up to that one. Perhaps a new chapter, historical inks! Exceptional!
That’s cool!! Do you think they used that pink ink outta that ink bottle to get the top of that art glass piece pink?? That’s a nice piece of history to keep together. 👍🏼
Hey guys how do you split up the bottles? just take turns picking? And have you ever pulled out a bottle that was awesome and then accidently dropped or broke it? thx
Yep! We usually just take turns picking or if we know the other person wants something we will just come to some type of agreement. We are all fair with each other. I don't think I've done that, but in one of our youtube "shorts" you can see a clip where that ALMOST happened! Luckily I caught it after it slipped out of my hands like FIVE times! What was your reference source for finding out it's C.L.Hammonds King of Cures? I've searched for info on it and came up with no info. I live in North Java (pronounced Jay va) and also have one of these bottles.
@@ParlorCityPickersDiggers Just comes from a very small Hamlet here in Wyoming Co. For you to find one and me also having one shows that they are out there but just no recorded history per say of the bottler.
No, it's in Mike's possession and I had difficulties trying to get him to meet up for various reasons. Mainly to get some of the video clips off of his phone
That was cool how you helped the kids find their own, but I hope you gave the middle brother something better than that tiny pill bottle he found because I would be salty if I was him.

Definitely!! We all had a really great time. Certainly something they will never forget!
Love that Windsor bottle! I’ve lived in Windsor for the last 35 years. What a treasure!

That drum / eagle ink is exceptional!
Wicked cool, right? Can't find another example anywhere

@mrs.alabama Cool thought, but no. The art glass piece isn't painted, but rather manufactured with colored glass
Just found y'all...great dig ❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed! Welcome to the channel ⛏️⚒️

The C.L.H bottle is a Mrs. C.L. Hammonds King of Cures from North Java.
Awesome! Pretty tough bottle? It's got some good age

That was an awesome pit guys ! Great job
Thanks man! Was a really fun dig. Glad you enjoyed!
Still sportin those dolla tree gloves lol
Always!
Awesome video !! How many bottles had applied tops vs tooled ?
Thanks Gary! I'd say maybe 1/4 of them were applied tops vs 3/4 tooled tops. We only found like 1 or 2 machine made bottles which were really high up
Forgot about the variety of bottles we got. Was a fun one. Cant wait to get back out digging.
Yeah it was definitely an interesting pit! Me either man. I'm ready!
The Vans hat...lol
Damn! I forgot about that haha I still can't think of which one it is

Nice clean ? hobby but careful it is addicting. Find a john Howell Buffalo NY I would love to get it if it is up for sell.
Ive dug Carbondale Pa stuff lol
Will you be posting a video showing how to probe the area?
We would like to at some point! We do show the process briefly in a few of our videos
That would be great, I'll keep an eye out! I'm just starting out with bottles. I primarily metal detect. Not too far from you guys!

It was the nearby church lol
That's an ink well, not bottle 😊
The pottery item.
Not sure what you're referring to
@@kennethstickney8819 I don't see the part where we refer to it as a bottle
I believe your fancy comb is for a man's mustache. Not for lice to nice for a lice comb.
Likely not. Look up lice combs. They still use this exact style today for lice and also flea combs
Your hair is starving lol
