Totally forgot about this bag ! I always liked it because it has the same plate as the monogram Eva clutch . The straps look super comfy ! Your hubby is so sweet, love that he cut the tag off as soon as you said you liked it ! Best of luck with the new house babes 🥰🥰
Oh my gosh I have this bag.She was my first LV.They call The Monty.They stopped making her in 2012.My bag is 10years old.up to this day when it rains I never use her.Enjoy her.Blessings

You can really see the quality of the canvas. It reminds me of my speedy 35, she has the most gorgeously thick yet soft and pliable canvas. I sold her and bought a second Mulberry oversized Alexa because I didn’t use her due to the lack of crossbody strap and I was only keeping her because of the canvas. I don’t regret it because my Alexa has been one of my top five most used this year, especially when I wanted to wear subtle luxury when making high value purchases.

@@LVCoffeeLVer I have the regular and the oversized Alexa in my collection but when I saw the oversized in deep amber, my heart literally stopped. She had to be mine. I’m from London, rainy London so all I could see was me in my Burberry Mac with my deep amber oversized Alexa brightening up those grey, rainy London days.

What an amazing find. Lol I love how your hubby knows the fashionphile process with the tag. I have never heard of this bag before. This bag actually looks useful, like it can take some use. So many bags now are so delicate, and LV wasn’t like that for me before.

Hi Tiffany I love this bag! I bought it as well on the pre-loved market for a really great price! The quality is amazing and I love the hardware details. I hope people don’t sleep on the older canvas “not so popular” styles, they are such great gems! I also had the pm that I bought in store in 2011 and I sold it, and that sale still haunts me. The pm was cute!

Omg congratulations on the new bag. Glad to see another UA-camr that has this Monty GM bag too. This bag won my heart over the neverfull bag. I also own this bag from 2011 and has been sitting in my closet since then. It's comparable to my Tivoli gm size wise. Hope you will enjoy wearing your bag this summer 🙂🙂

It really is. They changed the canvas formula or something. Now the flowers rub off and you wear through them. It’s insane

I LOVE the tulum! I had the Tulum PM for many years! It was stunning and i LOVEd all the vachetta!!! My friend has it now and her mom uses it :) Always love a good find.
@@LVCoffeeLVer I must ask you about the 1854 fabric. I recently purchased a Pochette Métis in the black/ gray color, but find myself not reaching for it, as I am terrified of getting the fabric “dirty”……
Which is disappointing because I love the PM style so much.

I knew exactly which one it was as soon as I saw the cover photo! I have the PM, it’s my very fist LV. Hubby purchased for me in 06 or 07 for about $700… lol don’t we miss those prices. Don’t use it as much anymore because I need to have some of the corner piping repaired. Will get it done soon though, I miss using this bag! Congrats!

I have the PM 2010. It does have a lock. When I got mine it didn't have a lock either. I purchased a replacement lock. I love my bag.

I just got a speedy 35 for an amazing price and it was like new! Added a guitar strap and i now have a speedy bandouliere with drings on the side for a quarter of the price ☺️☺️☺️

i bought that bag in 2006. I loved it but the only reason i sold mine was because one of the straps kept falling off my shoulder and it annoyed me but it was really nice and very well made.

No it doesn’t come with a certification. Fashionphile does back up authenticity but either way, I’ve owned LV so long I can authenticate myself :)
