Oh wow! I use Artlist as you know and only once did I get a copyright strike which was solved with an appeal but otherwise they’ve been great. However, I’ve always used them exclusively so I’m not quite in the same situation. It sounds like a right pain for you! And I’m sure it will be for me as well if I ever went anywhere else. Hope something changes for you and it gets resolved
That’s really enlightening, I’ve just signed up with Artlist and will likely cancel if they show to be unethical as they are appearing here. Previously I’ve purchased Individual licenses but that can also prove to be an admin headache when the artist changes the terms or moves providers. Please do keep us updated.
Hi Tim, I use to do the same before moving over to audiio, must admit upon emailing audiio about it they took it all on and got it sorted, so can't fault them what so ever, I've heard nothing from Artlist, and even when trying to contact them all I got was a bot !. I'm sure it will be different if your a subscriber to them. All the best Tim.
Surely you didn't sign up to Artlist to use them exclusively 🤔 what does it matter to them if you occasionally use an alternative company. As I don't vlog I'm not fully up to speed regarding copyright but as long as you use audio from a source that you pay for what's the issue with them? If you've paid for a lifetime subscription that doesn't mean you will use their audio on EVERY vlog for ever does it!! It'll be interesting to see how many other vloggers have been getting the same emails. Looking forward to a follow up vlog
