This game is officially 10 years old today, and sadly it's shutting down at the start of the next month. Thanks for the ride, GT Racing 2.
Weirdly enough, the servers still seem to be up and running, 8 days after the supposed shutdown date

Just tried it again december 14th, still seems to be working for me, I can still do multiplayer and events, and use team chat@@Vorrimade

I'm very sad that this game is dead and that it needed to be removed from all platforms. It was my childhood, I remember that I was playing this game when I was younger and I had a lot of cars, especially Volkswagen Golf 24 and Lamborghini Sesto Elemento, those were my favorite cars, now when I joined, I was really sad because I saw that no more updates, the Tesla Model S have been removed and there were are lot of bugs and problems with the game. I'm seriously disappointed and sad. I enjoyed this product very much! In the memory of GT Racing 2 The Real Car Experience!
It's not removed from any platforms. It's still playable. I'm still playing it, and yes, some cars were removed from the game and some songs. I had the Toyota FT-86 II, Tesla Model S and Toyota Supra GT before they were removed. The other cars that were removed were the Alpine A110-50, Alpine A110, Seat Leon WTCC and Lexus GS 350. I'm sad that Gameloft downsized on this game with less cars and songs.
@@andrewnavarro8051 Well, I think that's because this game is not popular anymore and they revealed that it will be removed from all stores like Play Store and App Store, I read it on their webpage that they are planning to remove this game from the stores and platforms because they wanna concentrate to the other games, I know maybe in some devices it's not removed but they are planning to do it!
That last part of vid, night driving was aabsolutely awesome.

This game was my entire childhood.
i still play this game on iOS and i don't mind ads, but what's with the ads you can't close? there's no "X" to tap so i have to exit and restart the game, hoping i don't get the same casino slots ad again.

I actually kind of like that you have to race a LOT to get anywhere, but I really like that because I like RACING, even more with slower cars than with unrealistic cars I could never afford.
Might be nice to be able to ante up a bit for more than 1 lap - especially on tracks that are typically many laps. Having 1 lap at a time is important for mobile, but why not give us the choice? Also could have more up for the win...
But hey, I've got the same complaint against Need for Speed - who will probably never get another dime of my money

I analyzed the video... It looks pretty nice, not to shabby, the mountains and background should have higher resolution to make the game look much better and refined the cars look especially detailed. I'm expecting a lot from this game. A racing simulator with graphics on par with Real Racing 3, but with much better physics.

Gameloft, make a option button for the camera angles when Turning in a hard corner. When I do a hard corner, the car start showing the side of the car causing me to crash into something. Also add real race tracks. Mazda Leguna seca is the only real track.
