1:27 - this is where I stop in that bend for a quick wee :) knew it right away:) Crete interior is so empty even on July and August. Is it even emptier let's say May and October?
At least in this part of Crete, west - Chania and Rethymno too - it is more or less empty, withe very little villages {some abandoned or with a handful of inhabitants) , no big town at south (only Palaiochora), so there are no many people going up and down the interior. In Heraklion the situation is more or less different, with all those large villages and towns in the center and south. 😎
Nice to see a little bit more of Sougia as I have been twice but only near the ferrys just to get to the buses back to Omalos
