He just patted Ramsey on the shoulder saying sorry for, what it looked like at first glance, stealing the spotlight and making it look like HE should have the show. Fawking brilliant m8.
Seen the 'rushes' for this series and Gordon's rants are like 20-30 mins long in real time and severely cut down for TV. He paces around and these people rightly keep their mouths shut. The guy is a pro and knows exactly how to get these people to start spilling their guts.
This is an example of a fued between two men that you should not interrupt. When business comes between two men, it should be respectful that you do not interupt, since they are settling 'business'. A mans neural circuitry is made to last, and when 'cemented' enough it creates pockets and gaps. Gordon started the conversation, and this was enough to warrant an expression of his true beliefs. Men should be allowed to express themselves, but sometimes other people need to initiate it.
As you say, it's an amalgamation. Some elements are from where I live (Derby/Notts), but sounds like it has ethnic/urban elements thrown in there, I'm guessing Bradford or slightly lower in the west yorkshire region. A hint of Manc' in there, too.
You know you've fucked up when your partner is more angry with you than Ramsey. When Ramsey has to stand back in awe at your display of rage, it's a moment to reflect on how badly you've run your business.

The accent makes it so much better.
That's a real friend there. Tells you what you need to hear, not what you want to hear.
The day Ramsey had to pass on his cape and sceptor...
video stutters so badly everytime I try to watch it fullscreen, what do?
Gordon is impressed by his fucking skills.
Great Food Great Atmosphere
The US re-broadcast of this episode was 8 seconds long.
This is one of the best moments of the whole series
So it would air like this, uncensored?
This is the best thing, ever. Gives me goosebumps.
Well done, you quoted something from the video, you just earned my thumbs up...
Just watched the full episode, it's crazy to see how far this restaurant goes. Google "silversmiths sheffield" to see how it is now.
Watching this makes me realize how much time can be saved by not cursing.
Every now and then I come on youtube and watch this video. Like today. Not only funny af, this stuff is exhilarating
I love that he apologises to Gordon for interrupting him immediately after a giant anger rant XD
Best retort I've ever seen on anything ever.
he said 'our kid', pretty sure hes from yorkshire cus havent heard that said anywhere else but here
I bet he got hired by Gordon after.
That accent has a trace of Derby in it. Hey, Ramsay has finally met his match on the cussing front.

Ramsays the calm one?!
god damnit, now I need to find the full episode
What aboot seeecond breakfust??
The pat on Gordon Ramsay's back made this video for me.
I love how he says "sorry" to Gordon and then leaves.
Link to the episode anyone?
Where Is That Guy Even From? Like Irelamaica?
Standard Good cop/bad cop routine. Though I never thought I'd see Gordon play the good cop loll
Whats the episodes name for fucks sake?
where can i watch the whole episode? i live in australia ;/
I haven't seen a depiction of a better friend ever. I hope the owner's sake they still are.
How many times did he say fook?
this is way better uncenssored
Good thing they have that handy sign pointing towards the escape route!
This is actually a really good episode.
That seems like quite a reliable source there
sooo what was the problem with the restaurant? And what was with those comment cards? Were they fake?
What's a poopet?
It's like the producer said "Do you know what would be great? If you could swear so much at your friend that even Gordon Ramsey feels uncomfortable."
I love how he is like "sorry" after totally putting him down ahha.
100%! I don't know why people are flagging you.
i remember this episode

Quite an impressive display of the wide variety of uses for the word fuck.
So, that is a Jamaican / British fusion accent that he has? Can anyone from the UK shed some light on this one for me? Is that a popular accent?
As you say, it's an amalgamation. Some elements are from where I live (Derby/Notts), but sounds like it has ethnic/urban elements thrown in there, I'm guessing Bradford or slightly lower in the west yorkshire region. A hint of Manc' in there, too.
i work in a kitchen, this is how the chefs treat each other pretty much
Legend has it that this man is heir to the rant throne. Ramsay may pass his cape and crown over to this guy. lol
What episode is this? I want to watch it all
The "fook this shit bro" at the end is incredible.
Pretty genuine. By that clip, you can tell that they are real friends. They'll bounce back from it and hopefully get rich together.
what season and episode is this? someone
When they curse, they make it sound so right. This is the difference.
It sounds good.
Full episode?
whats the actual name of this episode?
turn on the captions.. hilarious :P
well, fuck.
atleast he said sorry
Somewhere in or near Sheffield I reckon. Could be leeds

That reference was genius.
What language are they speaking?
Which episode is this?~
What does he say at 1:09?
I hear "why the fuck are you still trying to makkar your fookin' gossamer?"
Nice, how's your restaurant doing?
'We'll be gone by 2 oclock'
See you late then mate...
Guys, if you want to watch the full episode, look up: GORDON RAMSAY Great British Nightmare UK THE DOVECOTE and THE RUNAWAY GIRL
You're welcome.
Finally, someone on this show who understands what Ramsey is trying to do and shuts up!
So fooking inspirational.
LOL " ^__^ sorry" *pats gordon* *walks away*
Try turning on automatic English captions. LMAO
Hmm, I can't tell if that comment's overly-rude or just overly-passionate....
of course
After 9pm, you're fuckin' right it would.
I believe it's Sheffield. It's definetly some Yorkshire accent.
i thought it was more
what accent is this? And don't tell me British. I mean what area of the UK
"why the fuck are you still trying to MAKE OUT your fookin' GOT SOMETHING?"
I met Gordon Ramsay while he was filming this. He is a fucking sound guy.
"like a fokin poopit!" haha love it :).
God, I felt pressured by that and I have absolutely nothing to do with it. Damn.
I love how exasperated Gordon is at the end!
Someone take a fooking count of how many times "fook" was iterated in this fooking video.
This Episode is brought to you by the Letter "F"
its ''why the fuck are you still trying to make out you've fuckin got something''
Best part is when the chef apologizes.
ANYTIME BEFORE CHRISTMAS MATE!!!!!!!!!!
My favourite part . . . "sorry"
yeh?
That was focking RAW
i focking love the way he says fuck
If i had a dollar every time he swore, I could probably buy a new TV
I believe that's english for "dangle me like a little fucking puppet"
Without the cursing, you may not know if he was serious. It'll be, ah well, he's just saying, he doesn't mean it really.
@rudeoldguy What do...
Wish we had no censorship in the states
Is folk a swear word in England?
Now that's reality tv.
Yes.
