I think you misunderstood that All Hail The King short. The "interviewer" tells him he works for the REAL Mandarin and he is NOT happy about Trevor impersonating him. It's basically reassurance for comic fans that the real Mandarin is still out there.
If they had done to the joker what they did to the mandarin, the movie would have been blacklisted

What makes this funny is that we're watching a Marvel fanboy watch these. That "this is all true but I'm still going to try to give my best disagreement face" face he's making is just perfect.
I didnt mind the mandarin twist that much but once i found out how important of a character he is in the comics i started to hate it. I mean you can't just turn someone like Venom or Magneto into a goofball fraud.

Well technically he could be considered an iteration of the Manderin and the real one is still out there somewhere because the "actor" guy he dressed the way the Manderin should so it's like he was just copying him
Jesus Ryan was butthurt the entire time. Like holy hell, even after honest trailers admitted they were nitpicking he had this butt hurt face on. His friend is laughing but Ryan looks like he's getting made fun of. Holy hell dude, it's just a joke, get over it.
+The Reel Rejects There, fixed my typos, typed the message on the phone. I was merely saying Ryan seemed seriously annoyed by the Honest Trailer quips even AFTER they said they were nitpicking at some points. Listen, I get it, they are picking apart movies you like. But some of these things are legitimate gripes that should be there. For example, I love the transformers movies, all of them, every one. Do I know they are bad movies, hell yeah. But whenever someone, like honest trailers, makes a nit picking trailer and attacks the movie and states legitimate wrong doings of the film I do not get irritated by it. I laugh, realize they are right, and move on with life and realize this is just a joke/comedic thing. It is an HONEST Trailer. They are suppose to be nitpicky/funny/stupid and comedic.

prink34320 You are right, he doesn't have to. But when he goes in and out of MOST of the videos complaining about how they nit pick, and displaying the butt hurt face, than it's pretty obvious he is biased towards them.
I think I like Ronan better than Malekith in phase 2
The suit that kept falling apart was just a prototype. None of his other suits fell apart; instead, they were ripped to shreds by superhuman henchmen. There is a difference.
Ryan's the type of fan who makes Marvel's job a million times easier. Doesn't take much to please. These weren't bad movies, but every criticism in those trailers was spot on. Sitting there so worried that they may bag on it as he says. If something sucks in a movie, it's ok, you can still like it. No point in denying it though.

Oh man, I remember that Star Wars part in the Cap one made me laugh so hard.
I loved iron man 3 because it realistically makes Tony human. As y'all said, Cap'n (lol) makes that comment about 'Take off the suit what are you,' and now we get to see. And to be honest, PTSD and anxiety are normal and realistic responses to the crap these guys have to go through on a regular basis. The fate of the world pretty much rests on their shoulders, plus the fact that they're fighting battles on like a daily basis. I'm concerned that most of them don't have those issues.
I know I'm probably gonna get shit about this but I just feel this way. DC Comic have better villains than Marvel

The Mandarin twist was a bit stupid when i first saw BUT there is a tie in comic to the MCU that reveals the Mandarin is real and is pissed about Killian and Trevor using his name and image.

The problem I have with Honest Trailers that have to do with the Marvel movies is that they always say that it's not the Avengers. We get it... It's not a funny joke.

I liked some parts of Ironman 3 but I did hate what they did to Mandarin, hated the fire people being the main villain and hated Pepper getting the boss kill. But other than those I liked most of the other stuff.

"Iron Man 3 was a great film" - Ryan Wright. As a movie reviewer, even as an amateur, I would be ashamed of that statement. Iron Man 3 was mediocre at best.

Liked all but the mandarin twist and nerd vows revenge because he missed a meeting in Iron man 3. Loved the second Thor. Caps my favorite avenger. Guardians of course fun, though yeah, avengers like this.

10:22 Thor 2 so ripped that scene off from one of the first Star Wars The Old Republic mmorpg video game trailer. The one where the Sith invade the Jedi temple trailer. Watch it where the transport crashes into the temple. Seriously, you can't say these two clips are not identical.
Iron Man - Tony Stark is a genius billionaire hell-bent on righting wrongs, vengeance on his mind - his creations are badass, precise and lethal - a reflection of their creator. Iron Man 2 - feels lifeless and purposeless because guess what? So does Tony! He's literally dying, and everything feels pointless to him as he The Most Brilliant Mind he knows - watches helplessly as he dies a bit more every passing day. So even the suits are vanilla. Avengers - Tony is in a happy place, confident and his swagger at an all-time high - his suits reflect that. Iron Man 3 - he's broken, falling apart, his confidence is gone - so there you have it - his suits are crappy, malfuncioning and falling apart (literally) - again, a reflection of their creator. It's a good character study piece, The Iron Man movies. Did I make sense?
I loved Iron man 3 it, I agree with what Ryan said but at the same time it wasn't the best movie and of course had some problems but I still enjoyed it

Thats exactly the point. Somehow this ancient Kingpin character, this legendary Mandarin, has built up a legacy and reputation that Trevor sullied by making a mockery of him. So the guys interviewing Trevor in the prison were sent by the real Mandarin to kill him.

In Iron Man 3, the Mk.42 was a prototype, that's why had those problems. The movie made sense... until they ruined The Mandarin; Ben was perfect.

What doesn't make any sense is that Tony had around 41 different armors laying in his basement, some of which we have already seen being much more durable and useful than the MK42 so why on EARTH would he use his only broken and unfinished armor?

Problem is that he didn't need to be!
He had 40 fucking suits in his house basement (that he waits to use till the last action sequence)... But not when he'll need ONE, just ONE to infiltrate Mandarins facility, & puts no danger to him!

i think that if in ironman 3 they did the mandarin the other way round so he was a fire breathing dragon but then it turned out that behind the scenes it was actually the real mandarin the movie would have been a lot better for the movie and the comic fans i laughed when the scene happened but i was also angry that it happened and the one shot should be made into ironman 4 where the real mandarin either comes to light or trevor becomes the real mandarin

Some of these Marvel movies are making political statements.
The twist in Iron Man 3 about the Mandarin was saying that Osama bin Laden had been working with American powers to create terrorists events in the interest of making money and looking like heroes. In other words, the public view of bin Laden was nothing more than actors playing their parts. In fact, all three Iron Man films seem to be telling us that war is bad and kills people, yet the celebrated heroes are the ones making the bombs that kill people.
The Winter Soldier also has a big message. Here I quote from Entertainment Weekly:
"...the movie clearly states that our modern intelligence apparatus and our whole system of national security was invented by some of the greatest villains of the 20th Century. And worse: Like the vampires of the pre-glitter period, HYDRA was welcomed in by their victims, freely and of their own will. In real-world terms, Winter Soldier basically says that the NSA was invented by Nazis…and that we let it happen, insisted even, giving up our freedom because we were too afraid to do anything else. EW critic Owen Gleiberman pointed out in his review that the villain in Winter Soldier is really the military-industrial complex. And that villain has accomplices, accessories, and henchmen who help the bad guys by doing nothing. To paraphrase Pogo: We have met the enemy, and they is us."
To take that even further, I see it as pointing out what I see as obvious: that America in general has been infiltrated by political ideas that were once considered evil, and those ideas are popularly welcomed by the brainwashed masses. You have to be a complete moron to deny that America has become infected with the Socialist agenda. But as long as that agenda is popular and cool, people will go along with it and praise it. The very fact that out current president was mentored by an actual communist, Frank Marshall Davis, and hung out with socialists and terrorists, but yet he elected to the Presidency because of his pretty words and black skin should tell us how dumb people can be.
I thought guardians of the galaxy was way overrated. I've seen it twice and I thought it was ehh.
